Recent ORDAINED Updates

December 19th - To coincide with the release of the new ORDAINED 3 song EP, The Reverend will be embarking on a few promotional tourture dates. It has been confirmed that he will be in New York City for the festivities in Times Square on New Years Eve. Big John & Kathy from Brahma Limousines have graciously offered to accomodate The Rev and his SINtourage again this year. The trip will mark the 10 year anniversary of The Reverend going up for the ringing in of the new year. To try and ensure that he gets through everything unscathed, once again Worker will be along as his handler. On the first night of 2005, at the legendary Bowery Ballroom, The Reverend will be performing the Thin Lizzy tune "The Rocker" onstage with his friends in the band Runner & The Thermodynamics (check out their site in our "Links" section). Roger (drummer for R&TT) is a fan of ORDAINED as well as The Renegades Of Sluts and has offered to have The Rev hop up for that song during their opening set for the Drive-By Truckers.

December 12th - Be sure to check back often to see what is up with the upcoming TV series that will begin airing in early 2005. The show will feature The Reverend as host, and will be a variety type of show. Videos, SINterviews, bootleg footage, monster trucks, advice... all sorts of SINteresting stuff. The first few episodes have been filmed and put together, trying to work out the time slot now. Most likely, a new show will air once a month, with repeats weekly so that people will be able to catch each episode more than once. More details to be posted as soon as we get word from the producers.

December 12th - ORDAINED will be adding our new EP to the Shopping SINter section on this site as soon as we get them back from the duplicators. On the same subject, if you do not have a copy of our 2003 full length release "Altar Ego", get your orders in now! We have almost SOLD OUT of these and as soon as the last few are gone, we will be removing it from the list, as we will NOT be reordering this title. This will be the 4th ORDAINED release to sell out - "Let Us Prey", "ORDAINED -The Second Coming", "The Resurrection Of Mortimus Grimley", and soon "Altar Ego". We are not counting the limited edition releases such as "A Taste Of The Blood", the CD SINgle "Lovette" or the "Dark Assembly Volume Two" complilation. Those all have been gone a long time ago.

December 11th - The new ORDAINED EP packaging has been finalized and we will be SINding everything off to the duplicators this upcoming week. As soon as we have confirmation from the factory we will post the release date, along with the EP title & track listing. As of right now, the TENTATIVE release is scheduled for December 23rd. This may change a few days in either direction, however, the year will not end without the new ORDAINED EP release. Stay tuned for ANOTHER MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT concerning ORDAINED material to coincide with the official EP release date!

November 27th - ORDAINED SINtered the recording studio today in Hampton VA for work on our upcoming EP. After only one take for each song, the drums, bass and vocals were done. The guitars took a little more, as Mike had to put down more than one track. The basic track then the leads. The Reverend also had to go back and add backing vocals on one song. This EP will feature: Joe Frost on bass, Mike Pagan on guitars, Wally "The Dog" Parris on drums & The Reverend on all vocals. ORDAINED also recorded "Civil War" from the Motorhead album "Overnight Sensation" for SINclusion on an upcoming tribute album. Special Thanks to Vince at Sniper Studios for giving us the killer sound, and for having his act together in the studio. Look for a release date to be posted here soon. This EP WILL BE released before the end of the year.

November 24th - The ORDAINED Shopping SINter is now open! Check it out to see the selection of t-shirts, stickers, our new DVD and the "Altar Ego" cd. We have special deals for those disciples who want to purchase more than one item, and shipping for all orders in the USA is FREE. November 24th - ORDAINED will be SINtering the studio this weekend to record a new EP. The 3 song release will be our first trip SINto the studio with our newest member, bassist Joe Frost. Two of the songs are continuations of ORDAINED storylines SINtroduced previously. The first tune, "Grimleys Tale" will give the listener another glimpse at the subject of our (now out of print) comic book* and debut release mascot character Mortimus Grimley. *Click the link on our homepage for the online version of the Mortimus Grimley comic book. "Who Was Jack?" is the most detailed song ever written or performed concerning the worlds most famous serial killer Jack the Ripper. It picks up where "The Diary Of Jack The Ripper" on our album "Altar Ego" left off. The third tune will knock everyone for a loop. At the current time, the title and subject matter is being kept secret, however the EP will be named after the song. Also, we will be recording the Motorhead tune "Civil War" for SINclusion on the Scatboy Records release "Remember Me Now, I'm Motorhead".
