Recent ORDAINED Updates

November 12th - ORDAINED, in conjunction with Die Music Group, will be embarking on a new venture geared towards getting the visual impact of our live performances across to a larger audience. We have reSINtly wrapped up negotiations with a SINdependent producer who has shown SINterest in ORDAINED as being a major part of a possible upcoming series to be shown on cable TV. The deal SINcludes provisions that will give ORDAINED total creative control over all segments that will feature the band, or members of the band. At this time, details of the time slot and show dates have not been confirmed, however the show has been greenlighted by the network. The show will be different each episode as to the content and theme, but this could change SINce everything is in the planning stages. More on this project as it develops.

November 12th - Thanks to our good friend Dick Nux, guitarist of The Renegades Of Sluts, ORDAINED has some KILLER pictures from the Revival Crusade Service we performed on Halloween. We will be posting a new thumbnail gallery with band shots this weekend. Within the next week the solo shots he took will be added as well.

November 7th - ORDAINED now has advance tickets for sale for our upcoming January performance in Philadelphia. This will be a showcase so to speak for the promoters from Europe who are looking to possibly bring ORDAINED over to Germany to perform. The tickets are available in advance ONLY from ORDAINED for $10 each postage paid. There will be no advance ticket sales at the venue, and day of show tickets will be $15. SINce ORDAINED has no control over the venue or performance, there will be no guest list or free admission for anyone. The promoters have booked the venue in advance and will be there to see how much of a crowd ORDAINED can draw outside of our home area. Depending on the turn out on January 13th, up to two more shows will be booked out of town (Philadelphia & Chicago) for ORDAINED to show how many people we can draw. SINterested persons who would like to attend the performance, SINd an email with "Tickets" in the subject line to: [email protected] OR [email protected] and we will get you as many tickets as you may need. Details of the performance are posted in the "Upcoming Revivals" section on this site.

November 7th - ORDAINED will be SINtering the studio within the next couple of weeks to record our new EP. Three songs have been confirmed for this recording, with a possible fourth in the works. Song titles for two of the tunes are "Who Was Jack" and "Grimleys Tale". "Who Was Jack" will be the most detailed song ever written and/or performed dealing with the most notorious serial killer of all time - Jack The Ripper. For those of you out there that have either the ORDAINED "Altar Ego" album or the "Altar Vidego" DVD (or both), you know that we have a song called "The Diary Of Jack The Ripper" on both of those dealing with the same subject. The new song is without a doubt the most detailed tune in history about Sir Jack. It lists 16 suspects, 10 of which are called by name, two victims called by name, the newspaper editor called by name and details of the crimes known only by the police at the time of the murders. "Grimleys Tale" brings back the storyline of a character from our first release (as well as our "Resurrection Of Mortimus Grimley" EP), Mortimus Grimley. Both of these songs are destined to become ORDAINED classics. We also will be recording the Motorhead tune "Civil War" for SINclusion on the "Remember Me Now, I'm Motorhead" tribute album to be released by Scatboy Records in early 2005. That song will not appear on the upcoming ORDAINED EP. The remaining song (or two songs) subject matter and titles are going to remain a mystery until we are about the release the EP.

November 7th - ORDAINED is in negotiations with a SINdependent producer about being a featured part of a mini series to be shown on cable TV. Last month, The Reverend filmed a small part to be used by this same producer in one of his other projects. The new project will possibly feature ORDAINEDs music as well as The Reverend in several different segments. More details to be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

October 31st - ORDAINED would like to thank all our fans and congregation members who attended our Halloween Revival Crusade Service in Norfolk last night. We would like to extend extra special thanks to John at Loud As Hell Entertainment, Dreadline, Conflict Of Interest and Scarz Within. All three bands kicked total ass, and this line-up was a full night of all styles of Metal from across the board. ORDAINED took the stage at the stroke of midnight. This performance started with the drop of a solid black curtain that had been obstructing the stage from view. The Reverends coffin burst SINto flames, and from that point, it was on. With flames spraying out of the risers on each side of the stage, ORDAINED was officially back. Shortly SINto the set, the power went out (which had happened earlier in the evening as well), but rest assured sinners, ORDAINED was not denied. Blasting through a set that SINcluded classic fan favorites as well as soon to be ORDAINED staples, the crowd was estatic. Playing songs from every ORDAINED release, along with 2 new originals and a Motorhead cover tune (that will be SINcluded on an upcoming tribute album), this Revival proved that Metal is alive and ORDAINED is the undisputed champion. During the final song "All In Vein", the biggest fireball in the history of ORDAINED was breathed and to cap off the performance, a confetti cannon showered the crowd with black and purple streamers. We would like to thank all who purchased the new ORDAINED DVD "Altar Vidego", a t-shirt, CD or stickers and/or signed our mailing list. Thanks also to DJ Batman for his contributions between bands and to Andy for giving all the bands SINvolved the best, most professional sound around. Extra Special Thanks go out to Worker, who was responsible for ORDAINED being able to put on a performance of that size and scope. Too many people showed up to thank here SINdividually, however here we go: Brattany, Virginia, Rose, Jessica, Beth, James & Marsha, Dick Photog & Dick Doc, Evil Ernie, Phlemmy & Fast Chris from Capricorn USA, Dick Nux from The Renegades Of Sluts, Ben & Vince from Beaten Back To Pure, Jean, Teresa, Debbie & her mom, Dean, Jen, Joe Godsea, Megan, John, Kurt, Nicole, Anne, Rogg, Brian, The Divine SINtervention Chris Devine & Stephanie, the staff of Michael Bobs and EVERY SINGLE SINNER who made it out whose name I cannot remember, but we DID see you there and we appreciate your support & SINterest. THANK YOU ALL!

October 27th - Thanks to all our congregation and fans who tuned in and called in this past Sunday and Tuesday for the live on-air SINterviews with ORDAINED. We would like to thank the respective staff members of WFOS 88.7 fm (TJ the DJ) & FM 99 WNOR (Shelley) for having us in to promote our Revival Crusade Service this weekend, along with our new DVD that will be available as well. ORDAINED appreciates all your support and SINterest!

October 21st - As a direct result of ORDAINED being asked SINto the WFOS 88.7 FM studio this upcoming Sunday October 24th, the staff of WNOR FM 99 has contacted Die Music Group to schedule ORDAINED to appear on their station on Tuesday night October 26th. Check out the "Upcoming Revivals" section on this site for all the details and times.
