Recent ORDAINED Updates
July 2nd - The hard work has paid off. The editing and compiliation for "Altar Vidego", our new home video release, has been totally completed. All the footage, credits, etc. has been painstakingly compiled, edited, put in order and uploaded. We are now in the process of mastering. "Altar Vidego" has a running time of just over one hour. We had to work very hard on this project, going through literally dozens of hours worth of video footage and hundreds of photos. It was not an easy task to choose what to SINclude, where to put it and in what order. ORDAINED would like to thank our photographer/videographer Woody Woodard for all his hard work and the contributions he has made to the band. Without his help and experience, we would never have gotten this project off the ground. Stay tuned for a release date.
June 10th - The next ORDAINED release "Altar Vidego", a home video featuring backstage footage, SINterview segments, never before seen photos and live footage, 3 music videos and more is in the final stages. Wally "The Dog" Parris, The Reverend & Woody Woodard have completed compiling all the archived footage and adding it SINto the video. They will be finishing up in the next couple of weeks, adding the credits along with some extra live footage. This home video will feature the long awaited SINsored & UnSINsored music videos for "The Diary Of Jack The Ripper" from ORDAINEDs most reSINt album "Altar Ego". More details SINcluding the release date to be posted here soon!
May 17th - A band member Bio has been posted for new ORDAINED Bassist Joe Frost in our Online Promo Package. New photos will be posted soon.
(posted) May 9th - New ORDAINED bassist Joe Frost may be facing assault & battery charges stemming from a SINcident at a warehouse last week. Seems Joe was there to make a delivery and was told to "Fucking wait, like I said for you to do". Joe doesn't like to be spoken to in that manner, so he clocked the guy in the mouth. Needless to say, his wait was shortened tremendously afterwards. Rock & Fucking Roll!
May 6th - ORDAINED is currently searching for a new artist. SINce the firing of Scapegoat back at the beginning of the year, no new ORDAINED artwork has been needed. However, now that we have a new bassist and will be going back SINto the studio at the end of the summer, we will begin fielding original artwork submissions. Artists MUST be able to work under a deadline and also be able to take ideas supplied by ORDAINED and turn them SINto graphic artwork reality. Color, black & white, ink, watercolor, marker and airbrush experience is desired, but not necessary. Caricatures, portraits, fantasy and still life art will be required over time. Ability to work on several projects at once is a must. Guaranteed worldwide SINternational and domestic exposure through album covers, in magazines, fanzines, on t-shirts, stickers, etc. SINd your submissions of ORIGINAL ARTWORK IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY to: [email protected] AND [email protected].
May 6th - For those of you in the Hampton Roads/Richmond VA area, pick up the latest copy of Ninevolt magazine and check out the review for "Altar Ego". Finally, ORDAINED gets a little extra press from our hometown. Thanks to the staff of Ninevolt for the positive comments and review.
May 2nd - After watching the show (3rd date on the tour), Wally "The Dog" Parris, The Reverend and new bassist Joe Frost got to hang out with Nikki Sixx, Tracii Guns, Scott Coogan and London LeGrand aka the Brides Of Destruction. The show at The Norva in Norfolk VA was originally thought to be sold out, however that was not the case. B.O.D. ripped through a set that SINcluded all the tracks from their debut release, along with a few tunes by L.A. Guns and Motley Crue. The Reverend had scored VIP passes for the show, and SINformed his boys that they would get to meet Nikki before the night was over. The Dog and Woody Woodard both had their cameras, so pics will be posted soon (of the show, and afterwards) in our Photo Galleries section. Thanks to Nikki, Tracii, Scott & London for being cool enough to hang out with the fans and taking the time for pics and autographs. Thanks also to Crash (the Brides stage manager and head of security) for getting up with The Reverend to make sure we were taken care of. Thanks also to new radio station MAX fm 100.5 for supporting and promoting the show.
May 2nd - ORDAINED has a new bassist! Joe Frost is the newest member of the ORDAINED line-up. Hailing from Connecticut, Joe is SINfluenced by the "old school" style of Heavy Metal and fits ORDAINED perfectly. New band and solo photos as well as a bio on Joe will be posted soon. Sinners, the wait was well worth it! Let the SINsanity resume!
May 1st - On Tuesday May 11th, a personal friend of ORDAINED will be coming through town with his band Gotham Road. Michale Graves, former lead singer of The Misfits, will be performing at Michael Bobs, 1524 Johnstons Road in Norfolk, VA. Local bands Construkt and Dalinquent will open the show at 8 pm. This will be an 18 and up show. Graves can be heard on The Misfits "American Psycho", "Evil Live II" and "Famous Monsters" albums. Check out the Gotham Road website at www.gothamroad.com.
April 24th - Skinart update! The Reverend has completed his half sleeves, with the addition of the Egyptian goddess, Bast. She is on his outside right forearm from the wrist to elbow. With this piece, The Reverends egyptian themed half sleeves are now finished. Jerry Thomas at Toucan Tattoo did the custom piece in 3 hours.
April 10th - 15th - The Reverend was in Sin City Las Vegas for the Ballys $10,000 Blackjack Invitational Tournament. After Revs arrival on Saturday, Jerry Thomas from Toucan Tattoo flew in to show his support and to get blasted all over town with The Reverend. Jerrys brother Clay was also along for added security and general support. Liquor was flowing like water as the guys spent the majority of their time in the High Limit Salons at The Venetian, The Mirage and Caesars Palace playing $100 a hand baccarat and all over town from Ballys, Aladdin, Palms, Harrahs, Paris, Sams Town, Boulder Station and the Las Vegas Hilton playing $25 blackjack. The Reverend finished 176 out of 500 participants in the blackjack tournament. For those of you who were in Barbary Coast Hotel Casino, you may have recognized the requested live vocal performance of Rolling Stones' "Emotional Rescue" by The Reverend in their lounge. Keeping the streak alive, The Rev. returned with plenty of cold hard cash. Viva Las Vegas!
