Recent ORDAINED Updates
(posted) January 25th - The Reverends Sin City Las Vegas trip was a success. Much promotion concerning the new ORDAINED release "Altar Ego", and massive gambling. Brattany flew in from NC to help out with all the scheduling and also to act as a "monitor" for The Reverends various addictive habits. Most time was spent at the blackjack tables, with large wins recorded at the Las Vegas Hilton, Luxor, Stratosphere and Lady Luck. Several hours (about 12 total) were spent checking out real estate (houses and condos). There is a booming real estate market out there, and now is the time to buy. As always, massive amounts of alcohol were consumed, 24 hours a day. All in all it was a positive trip with the word getting out to many, many people about the new album and ending on a positive note.... keeping the tradition alive, The Reverend came back with more money than he took out.
January 18th - Pick up a copy of Ninevolt magazine and cast your vote for ORDAINED as Hard Rock band of the year. We are listed on the ballot for the first time in a few years, so make your voice heard! There is strength in numbers, sinners! Stand up for Metal and ORDAINED!
January 4th - For those of our congregation members up in Boston..... Yes, that was a new ORDAINED track you heard on the radio last night. The Metal show (which also featured Overkill, Dio, Cradle Of Filth, Helix, Krokus and dozens of other bands), played "Cog In A Wheel" from our latest release "Altar Ego". Thanks to the DJ and to all who called in to request ORDAINED.
December 29th - January 1st - The Reverend was in Staten Island, Long Island & NYC promoting the new ORDAINED album "Altar Ego". Things got started earlier than expected, as The Reverend left Virginia way ahead of schedule. Worker was along as driver and "handler" to make sure no mishaps like last year occured. Arriving at 8 pm, the pair took the Staten Island ferry into The City. After riding the subway to Penn Station, they hopped onto the Long Island Railroad. Big John picked the pair up at the terminal upon their arrival in Long Island and they were taken to Brahma Limo HQ. The next two days were spent all over NYC, SINcluding the first extended visit to Chinatown. New Years Eve found The Reverend & Worker in the Times Square crowd as usual. Security was tight, and The Reverend was searched 4 times before being admitted SINto the crowd. This year we were not in our usual place right at the corner of 43rd & Broadway, thanks to the high security alert and extra barricades, etc. After the ball dropped, The Reverend & Worker made their way back to the hotel, which they had scored for a measly $115 ON NEW YEARS EVE RIGHT IN TIMES SQUARE! Crashing out around 3 am, they got up at 9, went and got breakfast and bought $6 5 hour porno DVDs before checking out and heading back home. Thanks as always to Big John, Kathy & Brandon at Brahma Limo HQ for their hospitality. Long live NYC! The Capital Of The World!
December 28th - The Reverend will be making his annual winter trip to NYC for the celebration in Times Square, as part of the promotional appearances that are scheduled. For those of you who tune into the live broadcast on New Years Eve, be on the lookout for a Confederate flag in the crowd. The Reverend always manages to get down into the main part of the crowd, right beneath the tower that lowers the ball at One Times Square. Long live Heavy Metal and New York City!
December 25th - A few Promotional Tourture Dates have been scheduled. The Reverend will be making a few appearances to help promote the new ORDAINED release "Altar Ego". Check out the "Upcoming Revivals" section on this site to see what is going on. Any 'zines in the cities on the schedule, contact ORDAINED at the email address on that page to set up a SINterview or photo shoot.
December 17th - ORDAINED is now featured on the home page of the website for Las Vegas radio station KOMP 92.3 fm. The KOMP has supported ORDAINED from the beginning (The Reverend is a former resident of Sin City). It is also a well known fact that The Reverend and Wally "The Dog" Parris frequent Vegas as often as possible, with their most recent trip being back in September. The Reverend will be returning to Sin City to promote the new ORDAINED release "Altar Ego" in January. Check out the Rock of Las Vegas..... KOMP 92.3 at www.komp.com.
December 14th - ORDAINED shot the final scenes needed for our upcoming music video for "The Diary Of Jack The Ripper". The shoot was time consuming, taking about 11 hours from start to finish. Very special thanks go out to Worker for going above and beyond the call of duty to make the shoot a success, to Woody Woodard for the help to make the shoot as professional as possible and also everyone present who had to SINdure 11 hours of The Reverend bitching about everything from the temperature of the room (too hot) to where his fucking coffin was going to be set up (definately NOT in front of the PA or drum riser). A full scale stage was constructed to facilitate the band and all of our equipment and props. The footage that was filmed will be added to the scenes we shot in NJ with XXX star Lovette. After editing, all the footage will be put together and released in SINsored and UnSINsored versions. It will also be released as part of a 3 video compilation, with our video for the song "Lovette" SINcluded along with both versions of "The Diary Of Jack The Ripper". The compilation will be released by Die Music Group under the title of "ALTAR VIDEGO". Tentative release date is Valentines Day, February 14th.

December 10th - There have been some new additions in the "Lyrics" section of the site. When you go to that section, cover art for each of our albums will be displayed. Click on the album cover to view the lyrics from each ORDAINED release.
December 10th - A new photo gallery has been posted. This gallery is the SINsored version of the photo shoot we had with XXX porn star Lovette while filming parts of the video for our upcoming SINgle "The Diary Of Jack The Ripper".
December 6th - A few changes have been made in our "Photo Galleries" section. We have removed a few of the galleries to make room for newer photos. New thumbnail sections will be added periodically over the next few months, with the newest from the photo shoot in New Jersey being posted this week.
December 6th - ORDAINED is currently finalizing the location and logistics for the video shoot to complete the footage needed for our upcoming music video "The Diary Of Jack The Ripper". The footage will be edited and added in with the existing material that was shot in New Jersey on Thanksgiving weekend. The video shoot will take place on either Saturday December 20th or Saturday December 27th in Norfolk, VA. A set will be constructed and the shoot will take approximately 8 - 12 hours. This will be the second SINgle and video released in support of the new ORDAINED album "Altar Ego".
