Recent ORDAINED Updates

(posted) June 23rd - Wally "The Dog" Parris made a trip up to Raleigh, NC this past Friday June 21st to meet with porn queen Serenity. He went to discuss having ORDAINED do a theme song for her to use at all of her dance features as she travels across the country. Everything went well as always. The Dog gave her some ORDAINED material (CDs) and hung out with her for about 35 minutes before she had to leave for her performance. Keep your eyes here, as we will post any developments on this as soon as we get them in here at ORDAINED Dot Net.

June 22nd - Wally "The Dog" Parris & The Reverend were front and SINter for the Scorpions, Deep Purple & Dio concert. From the minute the lights went down, Ronnie James Dio was onto them. Blasting through his set, he took the time to take an ORDAINED disc from The Reverend between songs. The entire set Dio was virtually constantly giving The Dog & The Rev acknowlegements. Wallys bud Jimmy Bain on bass was onto it as well, giving The Dog the "what's up" as soon as he stepped on stage. Dio told The Reverend that he would check out he CD as he was leaving the stage. Deep Purple's Ian Gillan, Steve Morse & Don Airey were onto the ORDAINED repreSINtatives as well. Steve gave both a gutiar pic. The Scorps took the stage and The Reverend ended up getting one of Klaus Meine's drumsticks from when he plays the cowbell during a few songs. Klaus looked out and The Rev showed his scorpion elbow tattoo, and the man handed him the drumstick. Rudy made sure that The Rev got a guitar pic for sporting the scorpion tattoo as well.

June 22nd - The Reverend finished up the top section of his right sleeve today. Riding his Sportster (his Dyna SuperGlide is wrecked and has not been repaired yet) up to Toucan Tattoo, he had Jerry Thomas ink in the New York City skyline on his outside shoulder behind his Statue Of Liberty tat. It is fucking bad ass, surely to bring Jerry and Toucan another trophy. It ties in with the Statue Of Liberty, American flag and Confederate flag tats on The Reverends arm.

June 18th - A belated thanks to the fans who made it out to the ORDAINED Revival Crusade at Salty Dawgs in NC last weekend. We will be returning to perform there again soon. Also, for all of you who keep asking, YES we are writing even more new material for a new full length to be recorded towards the end of summer. Our four newest songs that we have been performing will be on the new release, as well as at least 4 additional songs we are currently working on. We already have our own studio, so that cuts out a massive amount of bullshit and wasted time. We will keep you posted Sinners.

June 13th - Well, well, well..... The Reverend once told someone that "Guitarists are a dime a dozen". What he actually meant and SHOULD have said was "Guitarists that want to jam in ORDAINED are a dime a dozen". Case in point: the two dozen guitarists that came out to audition when we were looking for a new guitarist. Long story short, ORDAINED has a vocalist, bassist, drummer & guitarist. Some other people aren't so fortunate. Sometimes you just can't see the forest because of all the damn trees. Whatever the case, you shouldn't cut down the whole fucking forest.

June 13th - The first new review of our latest offering "The Resurrection Of Mortimus Grimley" MCD has been posted. The review is from Germany, and a SINterview was also done for the zine/website. As soon as the SINterview is online, we will add a link here.

June 9th - ORDAINED rolls the Revival Crusade down SINto New Bern, North Carolina this weekend! Come out and support Heavy Metal and ORDAINED! The new 3 song MCD "The Resurrection Of Mortimus Grimley" will be available, and it is the first ORDAINED show outside of Virginia with our new guitarist Mike Pagan. ORDAINED will be performing new songs as well as some of the congregation favorites from our "Let Us Prey" & "ORDAINED - The Second Coming" CDs. Check out the "Upcoming Revivals" section for SINformation on time, address and phone number.

June 5th - Pounding Metal 'zine in Germany will be publishing a review of our latest MCD as well as a SINterview with ORDAINED in an upcoming issue. The questions were SINt via email this morning, and the answers were SINt back two hours later. As soon as the review and SINterview are published, we will post them here.

June 4th - This Saturday, ORDAINED will be performing in Va. Beach VA at 757 Cafe & Lounge. This Revival Crusade Service will be a total balls to the wall set with a stripped down stage set and limited special effects. Rest assured that the congregation will get their moneys worth (as always).... the time has come to DEMONstrate that our music speaks for itself. Heavy Metal still stands strong, and ORDAINED will continue to hold the banner of Metal high while destroying all who dare oppose.

May 30th - ORDAINED would like to thank all of the congregation members that made it out to our Revival Crusade Service at The Abyss in Va. Beach. We will be performing there again on July 4th in the big room. The Revival was our first local performance with Mike Pagan. Thanks also to all of our road crew, without them ORDAINED would not be able to put on such a large scale preSINtation. As always, thanks to all our fans for their support and SINterest.

May 25th approx. 2 am EST - The Reverend totaled his 1995 Harley-Davidson Dyna Glide in Chesapeake, VA. The rear tire of the 800 pound bike blew out in a curve on the on-ramp to the interstate. SINce he was leaning SINto the curve, he couldn't keep the bike under control when the tire blew. He rolled when he hit the ground, and believe it or not, emerged from the crash with hardly a scratch. He plans on replacing his sled with some new American steel as soon as the SINsurance company processes his claim.

week of May 19th - ORDAINED SINtered our studio to record a brand new tune for release on the Dark Assembly Volume 2 compilation CD. We recorded the first song that we wrote with Mike, "Unholy Blasphemies". The song was recorded in one day, with all the parts (drums, guitars, bass, lead & backing vocals) done in one or two takes. We also SINlisted two members of our road crew (JC "Worker" Mays & Pete Pope from Hell) for additional backing vocals. Dean is currently mixing and mastering the track. This song is some bad ass Heavy Fucking Metal. This track will show everyone that ORDAINED is back with a vengeance. The compilation CD will be available at the Dark Assembly CD release concert on July 4th in Va. Beach. Check out our "Upcoming Revivals" section for more SINformation on this event.
