POLITICAL INFIGHTING
I do not care if you like or dislike the President. I do not care if you are for or against the war. It does not matter to me what political party you identify with. I do know that WE NEED TO SUPPORT THE TROOPS, PERIOD. No matter what. Those guys and girls are over there because that is their job. They VOLUNTEERED to join the service, and that in itself is a noble cause. It is a VERY important job, and I can't think of ANY job that should get more respect and support from Congress. Which brings me to the subject of this rant. These fucking Democrats who have been screaming bloody murder over the last year or so (before they took control of the House & Senate) about the war have decided that the troops don't need any money unless they are going to come home now. The President has repeatedly said that a troop timetable is not negotiable. We told those people that we would help them get rid of the terrorists and dammit, that is what we need to do. If we don't do the job there, it is going to follow us back here. Why are people so blind as to not see this? The budget that the Dems put together and sent to the Prez had a troop withdrawal timeline and so much fucking pork in it that he couldn't sign it even if it didn't have the troop timetable in it. I mean tens of MILLIONS of dollars going to everything from fucking bowling alleys(!) to diary farmers to some bullshit project in Alaska that will generate ZERO tax dollars. If you don't believe me, look it up. Go ahead and look through this garbage that they gave him to sign into law. Tax and spend. Tax and spend. They were screaming how much the Republicans were spending, as as soon as they get in there, what do they do? They want to take away the tax breaks that were passed (read: increase taxes), start up a bunch of new entitlement programs (read: take your money and give it to someone else) and on and on and on. This country needs a LINE ITEM VETO. That way, anything that is bullshit or a waste of taxpayers (read: YOU & ME) money can be crossed out without having to redo the entire thing (read: LIKE THE NEW BUDGET THEY ARE FIGHTING OVER). The Father Of Our Country, George Washington once said that the worst thing that America could do would be to create political parties. This would divide the nation and people. He was right. Over 200 years ago. I don't care who is in charge of Congress or who is sitting in the White House. Give our troops what they need (money, equipment, etc.) NOW and quit playing fucking games with these guys lives! Stop the pissing match, motherfuckers and DO YOUR JOBS! Put the money where it is needed and let them do their jobs so they can come home. Nobody hates war more than a soldier. I am an AMERICAN and I support our troops NO MATTER WHAT. YOU SHOULD TOO.
PEOPLE WHO JUNK UP THEIR PROPERTY
Well, it has happened. Move SINto my new condo this week and already having problems with someone. Come home and look up to my new place on 3rd floor. It is a six unit building, with two on each floor. Top of the stairs on each level has a small open area and two doors side by side. Anyway, I get home and look up and there are bags of garbage piled up in front of the door next to mine. So, I go on up inside and write a note and put it on their door. "This is not a staging area for garbage. Put all your trash in the dumpster." Next day, come home and there are bags of garbage sitting in front of the fucking doors again. So, another note "Put your garbage in the dumpster. It does not belong on the porch." Ten minutes later, knock on my door. Next door neighbor holding the note. "What is this? My girl doesn't need to be getting notes on our door." "I"m not having bags of garbage siiting in front of my house." "That's not in front of your house. It doesn't smell and it isn't in your way." "Garbage goes in the dumpster, not on the porch. I paid alot of money to live here and you ain't going to have any garbage sitting out here for any amount of time. It can stay in your house until you walk down to the dumpster and throw it away like it belongs." "I ain't throwing anything away until I am ready. Until the condo association tells me in a letter that I have to do it, it is gonna be there whenever I say." "If you want a letter, slick, you are gonna have it in the morning. Tomorrow." This clown has no idea who he is fucking with. I was on the phone with the condo people within three seconds of closing my door. Ain't no way in HELL that some idiot is going to be piling garbage bags up anywhere NEAR my place. What he didn't realize is that when The Reverend took up residence in that condo, Country came to fucking town, Jack. Needless to say, there ain't no fucking garbage piled up in front of the doors anymore. I suppose he got the letter he wanted so badly. Hey, brother, I truly believe in "ask and ye shall receive". Am I in the wrong here? Who is the dick? Me, for writing a note wanting the guy to throw his garbage in the dumpster LIKE EVERYBODY FUCKING ELSE or him for piling a bunch of trash bags in front of the place like a fucking bum? This ain't no staging area, Buster.
