People Who Do Not Take Proper Care Of Their Pets
Until I moved to Vegas, I had never really owned a pet for any extended period of time, with one exception. I had a cat that was around for 21 years. Which is long as fuck for a cat. To get to my point: dogs (cats, fish, birds, etc.) can't take care of themselves. I know that there are probably millions of animals that have no-one tending to them, but I am talking about domesticated animals, like a pet dog. You teach them to go outside when they have to, and all that stuff, but they can't open the dog food or pick up the mess they leave. They will go where you teach them to, and unless there is an accident, picking up their mess is about as bad as it gets. You gotta take them to the doctor, you gotta make sure there isn't anything they can get into that will hurt them, all that stuff, just like a little kid. Yesterday afternoon, Brattany ran out into traffic in front of the shop (no, she wasn't run over by a car. Dammit. Just joking, Brattany!). There was a teeny tiny dog in the road, wandering around lost. She brought him into the shop and this dog was in the worst shape I have ever seen. He weighed about 2 lbs. (no joke), was blinded in one eye, his teeth were so messed up he couldn't eat hard food, he was shivering like it was 20 below, his fur was falling off, you could SEE, not feel, SEE ALL OF HIS RIBS, SPINE AND HIP BONES and he could hardly stand up under his own strength. He was terrified and obviously he belonged to somebody at some point. I thought they just threw him away like garbage. We gave him some water and he drank like he hadn't EVER had water in his life. It was terrible. Then this guy comes in looking for the dog. Says some "respected lady in the community" was upset because her dog "got loose" and she couldn't find him. I told that guy that there was no way that that woman was caring for that animal. There is no possible way, no matter how fucking old the dog is, that anyone was trying to care for him. If he "got loose" and ran away, he must have got a ride, because he could hardly stand up! No way he ran out the door when she opened it. He was telling us that the dog was old and she loves him and takes care of it. I told that guy "BULLSHIT!". I told him he could take the dog, but if they were gonna treat him badly or just throw him out, to bring him here and I would keep him. The Animal Control people will be visiting that house on Monday. Don't be cruel to animals, people! They just want to be hanging around, like everybody else. Animals are cool to watch and fun to have around. If there were no animals, all there would be is a bunch of people. And we all know that most people are idiots......
People Who Do Not Pay Attention While Driving
HEY! HEY! What the fuck are you doing!? When you get behind the wheel of a vehicle, no matter what type, LOOK AT WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE DOING! Case in point: yesterday there was a wreck on Sahara Ave. (which is a major street) and there was a police car, 2 fire trucks, a tow truck, a couple wrecked cars and an ambulance blocking all but the far left lane. Now, COMMON SENSE will tell you that EVERYBODY has to merge over to the left to get past, because YOU CAN SEE ALL THIS IN THE FUCKING MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. What do you think happens? Well, because she is an idiot driving a Hummer NOT PAYING ATTENTION, some bitch almost plows into me RIGHT BEFORE THE FUCKING WRECK EVERYONE IS TRYING TO GO AROUND. Then, she blows her horn and gets all pissed, because she almost hit me. Read that again. SHE almost hit ME. So, she's pissed off at me. Another case: the light is green, but nobody is going because of the BIG RED FIRE TRUCK WITH LOUD AS SHIT SIRENS BLARING AND AIR HORN BLOWING AND BRIGHT RED LIGHTS FLASHING is approaching the intersection. What do you think happens? That's right! The idiot next to me (first in line at the light) just drives right into the intersection, narrowly missing being plowed over by a huge diesel fucking fire truck, which if THAT driver wouldn't have been paying attention, would have smashed right into their side. Another case: yesterday (again) there was a 10 or 11 vehicle wreck on the interstate here that CLOSED THE WHOLE INTERSTATE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS for 5 hours. The Reverend used to work highway construction, so he knows that in order to shut down the fucking interstate, it takes a MAJOR event to shut down both directions. A tractor trailer who ignored all the road work ahead signs, cones, barrels and flashing fucking lights PLOWS INTO A LINE OF SLOW MOVING TRAFFIC AT MORE THAN SIXTY MILES PER HOUR WITHOUT EVEN TOUCHING HIS BRAKES. There were dead bodies all over the fucking place because some idiot WAS NOT PAYING ATTENTION WHILE DRIVING! Two tractor trailers and ten or eleven cars were involved. That is how much farther he went after hitting the last car in line. LOOK at the road AHEAD of you, people! Not just in front of your car. Pay attention while driving, because there are alot of people who are not aware of anything when they sit down in that drivers seat. You KNOW that tractor trailer driver couldn't have been paying attention, because where he sits, he is OVER TOP OF THE TRAFFIC AROUND, BESIDE AND BEHIND him. Unless he wasn't paying attention, there is no way possible that he could not see all those warning signs and all the traffic backed up in front of him. Pay attention when you drive, it really is easy.
