| October sunset I want to see a sunset with good people. Some cold October night as the sun dims below the horizon Together we would sit Behind a huge rock, facing a cliff All our hoodies keep us warm, the sun shining in our eyes, the wind amazing and abrasive All I can think of is how beautiful and wonderful it all is... The blazing red and deep purple, with the shocks of orange is comforting As we sit here, I have this sense of change to come, and I am nourished This atmosphere is so raw and intense, the perfect breeding ground for a transformation of soul Off in the distance to the south, dark gray clouds move fast towards us I love the feeling of the icy water pelting against my already chilled face As the sun falls farther down the sky, the colors grow in brilliance This moment seems to be suspended in time, to be forever relished in its glory |
