Gray TV boxes    - inspired by the grey zone movie

The voices fade and all eyes focus on gray TV boxes,
With their already irradiated orbs and dilated deception,
They would scream if they could still feel,

The truth only comes in doses,
By watching the degenerative desecration onscreen,
They watch them bleed in their minds,

It is said terror screams eternally in the dark,
With mournful tears and wiped dry eyes, any more you cannot take,
The already dead lives exist in tandem,

How did this happen?
All this bleak mischief exists for a reason?
Some grand old conspiracy pulled over their eyes?
   How could this be?

If they only knew the real truth..

All this would leave them choking on the uncontrollable tickle in the back of their throats,
Like the gasping for one more cyanide soaked breath of their victims,
The grey men in grey suits with emblazoned eagles shining proudly on their military hats, they rejoice in supreme idiocy due to a barking mad man on their gray TV boxes,

He orates with grand plans and discipline, yet volatile as a bloodthirsty berserker lion.
This man encapsulates them all, he burns down the national congress and the millions elect him.

Grand delusions thoughtfully created in a prison cell, they come to fruition from the blast of a gun and the turn of a switch,
He got so far and found more to fight, until at last he relegated himself to a bunker,

His third Reich the size of a small suburban house, he crumbles into nothingness as the realization of what he has committed to captures him,
The gravity turns inward, planets tear apart, stars explode and luminous gassy creations disintegrate into atomic fiery chaos.

That mind became a black hole of hellish retribution; the guilt compounded to the infinite point, and there was no reason left to live.

He would scream if he could still feelas the end is near,
Outside somewhere the rockets blast the dead ground of the third Reich,
The bullets fly and fires burn and somewhere beneath the din of mercilessness   underground a single shot is fired and the monster is dead.
