I need you to open my eyes,
Show me things I�ve yet to see.
Because I think maybe we trick ourselves into certain ways of thinking,
Mindsets that don�t allow for change,
A change in you and a change in me.
It seems that you have traveled up the road further than I have
And I�m left behind at the bend,
Lost with no vision for the future.
You have changed but I didn�t want you to.
You tell me that I must allow for these amends,
A change in you and a change in me.
If I can�t tell you where I am,
How could I then find you?
After a long time of introspection,
I now see what you were saying,
That I must allow for change in others and more importantly in me.
