| Maggie had her 4th birthday (but her first with Keith and Tami) on April 1, 2002. Yes, she is an April Fool's baby! To celebrate the occasion, Tami made a special cake for Maggie out of flour, eggs, butter, beef baby food, and beef jerky, then frosted it with yogurt. (Doesn't that just sound yummy?) Maggie sure seemed to like it. Here she is carefully taking a bite of cake from Tami's hands. She is always very gentle when taking food; she hardly ever nips fingers. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Then, after cake, Maggie got to play with her new birthday presents. She got two woobies--a Harley-Davidson oil can (guess whose idea that was!) and an animal print ball with a very funny-sounding squeaker inside. The squeak sounds half-way between a frog and a cow. It is now her new favorite woobie, replacing the soccer ball with the velcro tab that Maggie loved to pull on with her teeth. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
