You are the shining star in my life
Next to God and family you mean the world to me
Some people may not like who you are
Some people may think different of you
Because of who you are
The way you think
Just because you are different
They haven't taken the chance to get to know you
Who you are
That in itself doesn't stop you, it doesn't stop anyone for that matter
I've heard love is forever and it's true
From the heaven's above
Once you've been hurt tis hard to love, to trust again
You are different
You are no one else but you
I love you
Second to God I don't know where I would be without you
Next to God and family you mean the world to me
I know thank you isn't needed but thank you
We share the same
And I'm glad
For you, for being you and no one else, for meeting you
I am thankful every day
It's strange to miss someone you haven't met
To love a person, even if they are far away
Even stranger that no matter what, your love toward them is the same, unchanging
It's a good strange, definately no complaining
That with all the above, your feelings for them will be the same
Forever and ever
Don't change who you are just because someone may say something about you
They don't know who you are
But they will
No matter what our feelings will be unchanged
Our love, no different than when we first met
Our friendship and what we have will never grow old
It's not the outside, it's not the age, it's not what a person may do or say
But it's the inside, it's who you are
All in the hands of God
Wisdom and courage to continue after
"puppy love" so to speak
That's how we learn, dating, puppy love, the good and the bad
Everything will be ok because with God and you I know
Who you are
Loving, kind, compassionate, I can't really explain
But God knows and you know
I love you for you and that's who you are
