His work has been screened/exhibited at The Hauge, Institute of Contemporary Arts, London; Rotterdam VHS Festival and Intermedia Gallery, Glasgow.

Influenced by the notions of realism, objectivity and representation the mood of Jan Halle's photographs are melancholic and defiantly anarchistic and are directed towards a fragmented and personal interpretation of urban space.  Halle is fundamentally connected to the notion of the photograph and uses language of photography not as an immediate actuality, but as a reconfiguration of reality.
