| Taima was born on July 11, 1989. Taima's (Ty-e-ma) name means thunderstorm because she was born during a thunderstorm. She is now 20 feet long and weighs 5,700 pounds. She is the biggest whale at Sea World Florida. She is the mother of Sumar and Tekoa, but not a very good one. Sumar was moved to Sea World California because of aggression between both of them. Tiama once attacked Kalina for taking care of Tekoa when she was not. Now Taima spends most of her time alone. | |||||||||||||||||||
