| Kasatka was captured in Iceland in 1978, when she was 9.5 feet long. She is the mother of Takara and Nakai, and the grandmother on Kohana. On July 9, she chose to give birth to Takara in the middle of a show! Now she is 17.5 feet long and weighs 5300 pounds. She once lived in every Sea World park, San Antonio, Orlando, Ohio (now closed), and now San Diego. She, Takara, and Orkid like to catch birds. | |||||||||||||||||
