Yes we all know Netscape has issues. Netscape is a good program don't get me wrong I use it myself... However when it comes down to viewing web cam's I believe everyone will agree that MSIE (Microsoft Internet Explorer) is the best. It actually refreshes as it's supposed to and that's what you need when your updating a pic every 30 secs or so on the net and want to view it.
The issues then becomes how do we get Netscape to update?
Well boys and girls that is a very sticky question. I don't' know every answer to every question however I will make some suggestions...
1)Download, install and use MSIE. This resolves the issue completely... don't forget to update your bookmarks and contact list in your E-mail directory...
2)Go to another web page that doesn't require updating, flush / clear your cashe then go back to the web cam page. Some times ya gotta do a little more than just hit refresh or reload in situations like this...
3)If the web cam still doesn't refresh every 30 secs, try hitting refresh or reload.
Here's where we get into the common sense stuff...
4)If still there is no better results check the time and date on the pic.. How close is it to the present time? Could it be that it's late and I was tired and went to bed and in the process turned off my web cam?
5)Install ICQ or E-mail me and see if I'm logged on... If so I'll try to help you fix your difficulty. (I'm interested in helping my viewers out ya know...)
Another one that makes no sense to ask me but people seem to want to know is, "Who long have you had your site up?"
I look at it this way... I didn't record the date for future generations. Let's try looking at things in the present, aren't you happy to be able to enjoy it now? Instead of E-mail me how long has your sight been up, why not E-mail me and say something like great site! How about that? Ya that would be nice...
Why did your site go up and down like that?
Sorry but I did have a bad ISP, Mac On Line, so my site did go up and down without warning... They buy their time from Concentric net... I would suggest for you all to stay away...
