ongoing project in different variations and places for food, conversation, documentation and installation
Concept relies on presenting a social context in the realm of everyday (cultural) experience and leaving it to
happenstance while documenting the process. Using food prepared by me as the main reference and connecting point for the project the ideas of process, agreement,social taste, presentation and outcome are presented in invitational or public gatherings. Images, video and sound are collected at the same time as preparation and presentation are happening. Thereby mergeing the actions of individual and group which leads to one outcome (the serving of food) and various alternate actions by the group. The material gathered is then presented in installation and performance formats.

meal: baked herbed fish, roasted potatoes, garden salad w/ wine, cheese plate
project 2: Antwerp 11/28/07- Held @ Bureau Gruzemayer/ - Buffet Style Soul Food w/ presentation of video edit from project 1. buffet: fried chicken, candied yams, okra, greens, sweet beets, corn fritters w/ beer.
