we have ever learned about our world
was at one time unknown. Until
microscopes there was no clear evidence
of
cellular or bacterial life and there
was no evidence
of
the earth's magnetic field until the
compass was created. Until
Columbus embarked on his journey to
find a quicker and safer route to
the East for commerce, known evidence
of his time was that the world was
flat. "The
study of Orbs is a new era of science that has had
no traditional exploration. It follows a lot of the properties of Quantum Physics; and as
yet, the correlation has not been scientifically noticed
or investigated. Collectively, Orb
experiencers can endeavor to understand and share the
true nature and purpose of Orbs." |

Science is the accumulation of thousands of years of systematically searching for knowledge. The quest to know the unknown is Science. In life there are many gray areas - between reality and the imagination and what can be seen through our sense of sight, hearing and touch and what can not be seen, heard or touched. Yet today, with all our new technological gadgets, unseen anomalies are captured by our digital cameras and unaudible voices on sound recorders. There are more phenomena that we don't scientifically understand than phenomena that we do scientifically accept. All of us, and that includes you and me, who are searching to find out what these strange anomalies are in our photographs, are endeavoring to begin a journey into the unknown. I have included a section Do Your Own Experiments & Tests for those interested in a new photographic hobby or actively pursuing answers. Thomas Edison always said and believed that "out of every invention a new invention would springboard"; so in our digital age and our new digital equipment, a new era of science is emerging. |

Today with the advent of digital and 35mm cameras, orbs are the most photographed anomalies caught on film by everyone. They can be completely transparent or display themselves in a bright solid forms or ectoplasm. Orbs are believed to be ghosts of people and animals, as well as Extraterrestrial life forms sharing our dimensional space with us.. It is theorized that ghosts prefer the form of an Orb because it takes less energy as a mode of traveling than the fuller shapes and ectoplasm. It is theorized that ghosts draw their energy from static electricity or electromagnetic energies. It is also believed that colder climates enable the spirits energies and ghosts to take on shapes other than Orbs such as Ectoplasm. Another popular belief is that they can draw energy from humans and animals when the environment is not conducive to their needs. Psychics and mediums
claim to talk to Orbs and believe they are spirits that elected to
stay behind instead of finding their way to the next level of existence;
which is also known as heaven. Some report
they can communicate with the Orbs by asking them to gather around
to be photographed. Photography of diamond and other geometrical
shapes are said to be the result of asking the Orbs to change
shape in acknowledgement of proof of communication. The majority of Orbs are usually white, though often orbs are red and many other colors. Other types of Orbs and ghostly phenomenon are the vortex (funnel shaped appearance) and Ectoplasm (commonly called Ecto and it has a smoky or foggy appearance). Electromagnetic Energies |

We need to understand the basis of electromagnetic energies before understanding plasma. All matter breaks down into cells and molecules; then atoms and finally electrical particles. Electrons, protons and neutrons bind the universe. Electrical charges are surrounded by magnetic fields and magnetic fields can produce electrical charges. Charges and fields, together create electromagnetic energy. Like all matter our bodies are both surrounded and permeated by electromagnetic energy. These electromagnetic fields are generally called EMF's. Our brain waves, nervous system, muscular control and most every other function of the body operates according to electrical principles. In addition to natural fields of electromagnetic energy, our bodies also carry static electrical charges. Static electricity is two identical charges, for instance ++ or --, which automatically repel each other. When you come into contact with static electricity and your hair stands up, all this means is that your hair and your skin have been exposed to the same charges (++ or --). The old saying of when you encounter a ghost, you get a cold sensation or a feeling of being touched, is actually true. This is the result of moving electrical particles which produce "ion wind". Using concentrated ions, we can produce three-dimensional forms which become visible as plasma. A familiar form of plasma is known as a ghost. Your energy field basically follows the contours of your physical body. It is in essence a three-dimensional energy mold of your physical form. This field is called the "etheric body." Kirlian photography is a technique that some claim can photograph the etheric body. Most Kirlian photos are taken of fingers and hands and the developed prints show a fiery aura of light surrounding the fingers or hands. These auras are coronas of energy. Auras are in many different colors. Colors have differing frequencies and wavelengths. I have included a Chart on Colors and their spiritual and metaphysical definitions. The etheric body, aka Aura, is a
layer of you that exists at a frequency that is not always
observable to our naked senses. This energy field which
surrounds our bodies and everything on this planet is called the
Auric Field. The first layer of the aura field is the
etheric layer and it plays a major role in Bio-Etheric
healing. One popular theory is that Orbs may also have something
to do with human bio-electrical energy. We will be
exploring this subject on the Discussion
Board and hopefully you will join
us. Another popular orbs theory is that the orb
is the energy being transferred from a source such as power lines,
magnetic fields and batteries.

Plasma |
|
Ninety-nine percent (99%) of the universe is made of plasma. The four known states of matter are solid, liquid, gas and plasma. Plasma is a mixture of free moving electrons and positive ions (atoms that have lost electrons). Energy is needed to strip electrons from atoms to make plasma. The energy can be of various origins such as light (ultraviolet light or intense visible light from a laser), electrical or thermal. Plasma can be accelerated and steered by electric and magnetic fields which allows it to be controlled and applied. Plasma is usually seen as a brilliant glowing display of electrical energy. Also, plasmas carry electrical currents and generate magnetic fields. There are many different forms of plasma and the flame from fire is one form. |

There are other theories concerning Orbs that they may be an advanced form of airborne protoplasm. There have been many sightings and reports of UFO orbs and strobing UFO orbs. I have included an article from Mexico about a Plasma UFO in our section "Area 51". |

While it is true that many skeptics have stated that the photographs containing Orbs are merely dust, airborne particles, raindrops and/or moisture droplets captured by the camera, they have none or little knowledge about Orbs or science credentials. Another theory is that Orbs are merely refractions of light on the camera lens that occurs when the camera flash bounces back from something reflective in the range of the camera. Other explanations include optical lens flares, internal camera flaws, chemical stains on 35mm film and reflections. |

There are all kinds of guidelines for experimenting and performing tests, but remember first and foremost to have Fun. What ever is easy and works for you is fine. Out of your own simple tests you just may find the answer or help to lead someone else in the correct direction. You can be scientific with recording weather, temperature, barometric pressure, etc. or you can be artistic and compare your Orbs with people and places or by design and shape. Your can be philosophical and compare by moods. If you are into meditating or psychic, you can log your thoughts and impressions. If you are into the metaphysical you can use crystals, precious stones and gems. Whichever method you choose, it will be vital in bringing us all closer to the answer. |
