| Vanyanin Aran'dor |
| Vanyanin Aran'dor is a wonderful kingdom. It is ruled over by a benevolent, and widely loved and respected King: Torlan Aki'rae, who happens to be a dragon. The kingdom is large, and lush. It is fertile, and many types of plants and vegetation grow here. It is also home to several beasts; some benevolent, some not so much. There are also many villages, settlements and people dispersed throughout the land. Even though the Kingdom is filled with such a diverse population, all races seem to get along quite peacefully and equally. Even races that have a history of not getting along, such as Dwarves and Elves, seem to be quite comfortable around each other. Very rarely does any kind of war or battle break out. People in the Kingdom are usually also kind to those just passing through, or the occasional wandering stranger. Even many of the beasts can be seen being kind and curious to the random stranger. They have even been known to help a person in need, oddly enough.
The Kingdom has also come to be known as a haven of sorts to those in needs. Escaped slaves (one in particular, who seems to have made a home here) have fled to the Kingdom looking for sanctuary, and received it. Even the occasional Prince (from either a neighboring Kingdom, or a far off one) wishing to abandon their Princehood, has been seen in the Kingdom . . . and has not been bothered since. It seems that anyone needing help, sanctuary, or just a fresh start on life, can be seen entering the Kingdom and the Capital City; having come from all the far reaches of the world. For some reason it seems that Vanyanin Aran'dor . . . has become the Center of Or'anya Kaimelor. The Kingdom, which is also home to the walled Capital City of Arytiris Benerel, is bordered by a neighboring Kingdom, Thac'zil d'lil Flamgra'in L'nik - Land of the Searing Sand (whose King, King Trevalin, is rather . . . flaky. Flaky, but kind). Vanyanin Aran'dor is also bordered by Nehilod Nanda (a very small portion of which actually lies inside the Kingdom); and partially bordered by Moranfauglor. Within the Kingdom lies Ksh'ravan, or the Terrible Forest. People do not travel into the forest, for it is said to be haunted and filled with things only from one's nightmares. Also, about a mile behind the walled city, there lies a lake. Linaedaquin - Lake of Danger. This is easily one of the most mysterious areas in the Kingdom. Now, onto one of the most wonderous areas of the Kingdom - Arytiris Benerel, the Great Walled City. This is the most beloved spot of the kingdom, for people from all over the world have traveled to the city for goods, just to visit, to settle down, or to make a permanent home. Please, feel free to visit our fair Kingdom whenever you wish. Chances are, you would be welcome. If you travel by ship or boat, please feel free to put into port at our docks, located at the far end of the Kingdom, on the shore beside Aytiris Benerel. I'm sure you'll find them quite lovely. |
