Cultural Plunge
So you can't exactly capture another culture in photos...or can you?

No I don't think you can.  But seriously, here I'll just post some odds and ends of the sights that we may recognize as Japanese or things that are unique.  Well, why don't you just scroll down and see for yourself?
So I went to this kimono shop and the shop keepers let me try on and take snapshots for free.  I thought it was a really nice gesture and a lot of fun.  Anywho, here's what a full kimono looks like.  It seemed really hard to get on and apparently the obi (sash) is hard to learn to do correctly. And the train of the sash is reallllly long I kept tripping over it, LOL. So of course the shop attendants dressed me.  It took about 30 or 35 minutes to get the entire thing on.  Here's the finished product.
