| Now don't get me wrong, I love Mc Donalds as much as the next person... (mmm... big macs :D)but it's just some of the adverts I find a little scary.... 1. I'm sure that if you're living in Britain you will have seen the we do ron ron advert for mc donalds, featuring all those little kids jumping around with Ronald McDonald the clown singing (a) being silly is fun.. (b) mums are number one... (c) being safe at home, there's nothing wrong with these they're very sweet, but in the end of the being safe at home one, my mum noticed that Ronald gives you a really scary look... (~I quote) "he's almost saying... hey you.. yes you! I know what you did last summer..." Once she had told me this I suddenly noticed it every time the advert came on... and I thought... is he really trying to communicate e.g~help me outta the red suit and nose... I have a degree in nuclear science. Thinking about it Ronald is very sweet... but wouldn't you be worried if he jumped into your house and danced around with your children?! Below me,my mum, Robbie and even the hamster decided to practise our best Ronald "I know what you did.." looks, and below are the results~ |

| Now I'm feeling guilty about all the brain cells I've killed in your head for making you read that.. so now it's time to educate you! :-) McDonalds facts.... 1)it all began in 1954 when a milkshake seller saw a burger stand by the side of a highway in California and imagened a multi million pound empire 2)McDoanlds' is coca cola's largest customer in the world.. serving serving 5 billion cola products worldwide each year... 3)One new McDonalds' opens somewhere in the world every six hours :-S 4)Ronald the clown was introduced in1963 5)There are lots' of urban legends that claim people found chicken's eyes etc. in their meal, but these aren't true, it's just people trying to scare you. |
