Yes.. I can already hear the silent cries of "not anonther person sticking a few crappy pictures and links up for their favorite bands on their website" because I know this has been done to death. I feel left out however and have visions in heaven of everyone talking about their band pages and me being like "I didn't have one of those" and then God would look at me really oddly (because of course he likes ABBA). So therefore I proudly present "BANDS AND MUSIC" *cue trumpets and girls whirling batons*
Wahay, since the music is so good I even forgive Chris Martin for going out with Gwnyth Paltrow instead of me, though those scars will take time to heal... Anyway, I have a rush of blood to the head (not litereally), and it's rather good (suprise, suprise). Their website will appear if you click on this magic star "*" whilst singing 'Auld Lang Syne' and  writing a nice big check out for me :-)
I have to say I haven't heard an awful lot of Placebo, and I haven't any Albums as such, but they are rather good. I've also just realised the one on the right looks like Micheal Jackson.... Kind of an angsty sound and Brian Molko's a rather lovely (but kinky) person lol. Click on the Magic star (oooo) "*" .The website's also good because it's relatively easy to listen to their songs and videos.
I haven't been listening to Radiohead for long, but thanks to Ben I'm in love (lol). I think they're rather depressing, but that's not always a bad thing. I'm going to have get my bro' to buy me the new album 'Hail to the theif' and hopefully it'll be as good as the one I currently have, 'OK computer'. I have to say tho' Thom Yorke has a rather funny shaped head, but if I were you I'd ignore that because it's me being shallow *ahem*. So any offers of people lending me their Cd's would be v welcome. I'm not sure if this is THE official RH website, but it seems pretty good all the same... "*"
Mmmmm, Stereophonics are one of my favorites, I admit they're a bit commercialised sometimes, but Kelly Jones's voice is nicer than swimming in jelly whilst having that Travis underware model dance on the side in nothing but his pants (I think anyway). 'Just enough Education' was great, and 'You've gotta go there to come back' was also rather smashing (new word there) I want some of their earlier albums tho' since their style has changed alot. Anyway... the magic star is here "*". Maybe some of the nicest things to come from Wales.
Yet another gorgeous band with a gorgeous sound. Starsailor are great, and they have a new album out in september, which is even greater (yay). The music is perfect for depression (ie. dumped, lonely, general blah induced sadness) and also when you're happy (not sure hoe they manage that). Aaannyywwaayy they have a cool webiste, and it's another one where listening to their music is pretty easy. "*" Maybe I'll run off into the sunset with Kelly Jones and James Walsh instead of Chris Martin....
I've liked Travis for the longest of any of these bands, they started that whole seriously getting into music thing most people have around 13 when you stop listening to steps etc (lol). I've got two of their albums ('The man who', 'The invisable band') and there's a new one in october (yay) so that's even better. Go here "*"
Ok, I like more bands than this, but these are the main ones, the kind you watch The Amp etc for, waiting for the videos (how sad of me lol) Anway so yeah, thanks for reading this page of self indulgence I like music (as you see) and there's nothing better than talking about it with people who feel the same way.
