Womens basketball to face tough conference opposition this season

The Trojan women's basketball team started off the season on November 26 with a loss to Don Bosco, 74-32. With four games now behind them and a record of 0-4, the girls are going to improve not only their scores, but their overall game.

Head Coach Dave Hirsch has predicted that Cedar Rapids Xavier and Iowa City High will both present a challenge. "It's a really competitive conference," commented Hirsch, "and we definitely have a lot of room to grow."

With letter winners Regina Weekley, Kateea Scoot, Quinn Wesley, and Lindsay Diehl returning, the team hopes to get past the small number of players that they have an improve on their defense.
