This was my 2nd time cosplaying so far (My first was in December last year, in MAC 2002). I was crazy over the Kingdom Hearts PS2 game, mainly because I'm a huge FF7 fan and many of those old characters were remade into this game, after 5 years of inactivity!

I never had imagined that making this costume was so difficult. There very several (not one or two) extremely difficult aspects of this costume. I did not go to a tailor for this costume, because last year I had an extremely bad experience with a tailor that ruined my trenchcoat (it's not the one I wore in MAC2002, I dumped it aside the minute I received it), and the cost of tailoring was unreasonable, even for making an ordinary trenchcoat. Okay, there's so much detail into this costume that I won't go into it them, like how I did for my last costume. Only thing I can say is, wires, thread, needle and super-glue can do wonders!

Sephiroth's flaring trenchcoat was a pain to make (I didn't want it flat, and after many hours of work, I did get the effect I'd wanted!). The shoulder armor and the arm bracers were made using paper mache and wires, with help from my little sis, Moggy, who went as Yuffie from Kingdom Hearts as well.

The wig was custom-ordered from Katie-Wigs for about US $100 (inclusive of styling and shipping) and me and Moggy went to glue the fringe and left it overnight so it would really stand more. We also used Styling Glue diluted with water to wet all the hair at the back, so it wouldn't fly too madly or get caught in the wing.

The wing was pretty easy to make --- hehehe, it's not my first time making one of these, and I was glad that it could stay upright and never flop down or bend, no matter who bumped into it, or what mad movements I was doing while performing "Showdown of Fate" with my Cloud (Strife) on stage!

Hehehehe, this event was more fun that the last one I'd cosplay at --- I had a really fun Yaoi-ish time with my Cloud, a cool stage fight, a really cool group, the awards and awesome fan-response! I never regretted cosplaying Sephiroth, no matter how many weeks and weeks of planning and CosWork it took to make it ^__^
