Who can you trust in this modern world?
I used to think that we were living in a Golden Age.  Just look at all the technology we have available to us!  Ahh, but the precious technology comes at a price.  It seems to me that in this fast paced world, everyone seems to look out for numero uno.  " I need those figures on my desk by 5:00 tomorrow afternoon".  Our presidental oval office has been soiled-- not my the actions, but by the big deal made over a simple family problem which is typical in our new 'utopia'.  {of course I am speaking of the Clinton scandle here}.  Everyone has an opinion and wont accept that anyone else has one differnt from
their's.  Yes I have many opinions, but I am open to hear any rebutal, critisism, etc. But with everyone being as self centered as they are, this world is going to start going through a downward spiral as far as social freedoms, social structure, and social everything goes.  If you have ever read George Orwell's 1984, you will see alot of similarities between his book and our reality.  The governement may not have telescreens, but instead they have satelites that can take photographs clear enough even when zoomed in to read a newspaper. . . and that is the
ones that they will admit to having.  If we are lucky we will end up working via computers from our homes never actually making face to face contact with our employers or clients.  Or we can be chained together and be forced to do meanial tasks which are forced upon us, wear what we are told to wear, and be mindless drones who are deprived of the natural right to date who we choose and have our own kids. . . not test tube babies.
