The Power of Illusion

"Hail to thee, thane of Glamis! hail to thee, thane of Cawdor! thou shalt be king hereafter!" thus hurled Macbeth  into untold misery and pain. This was the power of illusion the witches  used to seduce Macbeth. Had not Macbeth been illusioned , we would not had so great tragedy .And  If Fastus had not bargained for twenty four years ; we would have missed a grand drama. Not a drama but the catharsis would have not been existed , thus  tragedy always comes out of illusion .

Satan  fell from heaven due to  the illusion of greatness - it is that he is self begotten like a turnip or any other vegetable or he considered himself more wise than the Almighty ;  amassed only eternal damnation. .When Pharaoh chased the Israelites to the edge of Red sea ,and the Yuweh split  the sea apart  ; he too considered it an ample opportunity : drowned himself in the swallowing surf. Eve was illusioned by the  false promise of eternal life  , from that great tragedy all other human tragedy started .Laocoon mumbled and said "No" , but they took in the gift of gods  and brought destruction upon themselves with their own hands ; thus the ten years siege came to an end and Troy was sacked. The  proud Ulysses in his  pride burnt the altar of Neptune  met strange fate , not only he suffered the horrors and dreads of the sea, but  also lost his memory ,and there chaste Penelope and noble Telemachus  were tortured by the arrogant suitors." Let  Rome  in Tiber melt "   said Anthony  enthralled by the beauty of a Gypsy  queen , kissed away   province after province and lastly his life too . 

Brutes convinced the Romans that his act was  not with out a cause , but  as soon as Anthony rose to the stage and produced a false will " And Here  is a parchment, Tis Caesar's will"  leaving the conventions  of Brutus aside ,  Romans at once agreed and  certified a joint action to end  the regime of Brutus and allies : for  all   the Romans were heir to the Caesar's will. Anthony knew the greed and lust of the people ,he hit the nail aright .

 Every Child wants his own experience , though his parents have told him thousand times what to do and what  not , but he wants that real thrill  which  he has only heard . Similar is the case of man , God has clearly  warned that , evil will breed only evil , and nothing good can  be extracted from evil. Gambling and usury is clearly forbidden ,because  the profit goes to lesser people and loss is received by more. If we   look at the case of IMF ,  which lends money on interest , the result is so horrible that today it is sucking  the blood and sweat of billions of people  around the world ; while  sole benefit  goes to the beer belly of G7. And what pity will be more  that   capital share  borrowed is at once returned  for  erasing the  previous interest .At  national level the leader beguiles the nation and vows that the  money obtained will propel the country into a new era.

 "The life of this World is illusions" Quran warns clearly . No the infidel says who has seen eternity. These are  the myths and legends of the past , for  charm  and lust of the of the present moment is more pregnant than the chastisement hereafter. Man  is prone to doubts and speculations in matters beyond ; he is apt to run into opposite extremes in his daily experiences. When Lot warned his  people they said , but  we will wax our ears  and met disaster. And when Noah said "My son come, take refuge in the ark , father ,I will climb to that lofty peak . Nay today the wrath of Allah is awakened , it won't help you". The Holy Prophet (PBUH) warned Quraish against their wrong and evil doings they said "If you are unfeigned ,  turn this Uhd  into solid gold . My duty is to discern  Evil from Good  , not to 

promise the hidden treasures . I am only the messenger of Allah not a magician" said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) . 

 The tragedy with all created things is that they know that they are ,but never understand how they came into being . Thus  Satan  raised his voice  "I am begotten of fire and man from clay" ; Infact not realized that  he is just a creature  not a Creator. When Abraham said  to Nimrod "My Lord gives life and death" ."So do I" he replied .But when Abraham said" My  Lord sets sun from the East .You may raise it from the West "was left aghast .

  Man is very selfish  and ungrateful ,  If trouble befalls, he  call on Allah and offer prolonged prayers, with a  sincere devotion and  when  good befalls,  he says it all was due to my own merit . Man fabricates his own dreams and illusions for the life . He gauges things from the point of loss and benefit .

Allah  knows the nature of man ; He swears "By the declining day, Lo! man is in a state of loss, Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance".(Al- ASR)

Man is by nature timid and lazy and don't like to work , he wants more wage than his work ,and this gives rise to illusion. The  satanic powers have devised it's own plans to trap the man. It is not the things forbidden have no charm , they have their own  fascination ,but not to that extent as they seem .It is this exaggeration of the evil who know the art to seduce  ,and we tranced by the momentary  pleasure invite our own annihilation like the alluring songs of Sirens which brought death and confusion upon the weary  sailors.

 Future for all of us is a promise of happiness and wealth and joy .This illusion which we call hope keep us alive . If today all men come to know about their future :life would lose its charm, nobody will bother to work  and the world will become a stale and stagnant pond. It is His wisdom to hide fate from us ; we may want to peep into the future , but  the Oracle of Apollo  is always twisted. It is better to know nothing than to know a bad tiding and wait for the distress end
