The Mysterious God

 Ever since Mankind came into being , God also came into existence. Man found Him in   Temples ,  in  Synagogues ,in Churches and in  Mosques. He is out   there to guide us ; we need Him desperately  like children need mother to nourish them ,  lull them and punish them. Man in his devotion  often  tries to copy Him ; if he  cannot    become a god , at least try to behave  like Him. He moulds us and we consciously or unconsciously tends to mirror  Him; because we   feel  ourselves  so imperfect. The endeavour of man to know  God is not the need to  know reality  ;  but  rather an inferiority complex  which spurs man  towards perfection.

 In all the religions of the world God is always seated at the highest throne and men revolve around the likes and dislikes of God. God has always a dominating personality ,which overpowers us ; and we let lose ourselves at His Will to mark our name in His obedient servants. It is a strange phenomena that the God of every religion is different from  each other. Every devotee of the religion calls himself the righteous one ; no one ever ponders that the reality can be   contrary. We are happy in diversities and divisions: for this  keeps  us alive.

 From the  time immemorial God has been the supreme head  besides the many minor gods, which has inspired their followers in every era. .In Colombian civilization  gods were rough and crude and beastly and blood thirsty ; their followers in their zeal has fully complied the orders and sacrificed many young virgins and fresh youth  at their  altars. Their temples and paintings depict the horrid faces of the gods, and the cruelties committed at their name. What these gods bestowed their followers are  cruelty , tyranny , rage  blood thirst and  material boom. Through out the centuries ,cities after cities were burnt down to  ashes , their dwellers plunged into the valley of death and their lands made barren and infertile forever. These gods inspired them in every walk of life , their rituals and music, their joys and fears , and their  festivals and funerals ;  all  were filled with their awful presence. Their pyramids and temples are deep and dark and shadowed by the mist of death , full of   hateful and cruel drawings and paintings ,  ceremonies taking place, and king cutting the throats of wretched men. It' s so dreadful to look it , yet they all did it in the name of religion and pleased the Supreme  Loa with their madness.

The Israelites call themselves the chosen one , for the Yuaweh made covenant with them and their ancestors have seen the shadow of Yuaweh . They assume themselves greater than all the people of the world for they have been  delivered more prophets than any other nation of the world. For centuries they were under the tyranny of cruel kings ; then mercy of  Yuaweh rescued them and conferred them freedom and bestowed power and glory , but when they  transgressed; He struck them with His bolt  and thunder and  hurled them into heavy pain and chastisement in the wilderness of Sinai . Again and again they were chained and redeemed through countless ages by countless sagas and seers and prophets , each time they promised to follow the covenant , but at the slightest deviation they  became  pitiful, worthless creatures in the hand of Yuaweh . Kingdoms were there’s and   glory  their handmaid ;  they slipped it off their hands and teased the prophets and persecuted them ; thus  shame , dishonour ,wrath and  revenge became  their fate. .They were stubborn and hostile and their Yuaweh more stubborn than them , thus the conflict never ended , until they became a despised , rejected and a  dammed nation .

Then  the Lord thought Let me create a creature on my own image, and man sprang  out of his Love. He said "Eat and drink and enjoy, but not dare to touch that forbidden fruit" . This little stupid creature committed the foolery and was thrown out of Eden , thus the parents of all human beings were stained with sin. Now whatever they beget will be infected with ancestral crime , no matter how much they devout themselves to His glory ,they are tainted with sin , they can never wash it off. And when the world became  stricken with sin , He thought it's the time ,that I should rescue my beloved man from pain. He  descended His own Son from heaven  and crucified him : thus whole  the humanity was saved due to His high compassion and   mercy  .He is the Holy Father who from His lofty Heaven sees his children committing follies after folly  . He smiles at them and pates them with love and says you are saved from doom , for I spilled my own blood for you. Only you should know that I am one and three and yet one. The distorted and perverted version of the Christian God which brought o ruins the mighty empire of Rome for it lacked responsibility and morality. All a  believer had to do was  just a belief on Christ as a savior , or pay a little extra to the priest and your bestowed absolution .

Their is a Mighty Sultan, who lives high in Heaven, ,  who can crumble the universe with a hiss  surrounded by      thousand shaped angels , ; hovering above ever  ready to execute His commands - for they cannot deter. . And  sometimes He says  I shall  send the sinner to Heaven and the righteous one  to Hell. "Am I not thy Lord, whose Kingdom is sprawled between the East and the West"  He is  the Lord of the worlds ;He can make  the sun  rise from the West,  can make it revolve around the  earth. He can make   the fire cold and ice sizzle , can turn sugar sour and lemon sweet , can alter steel soft and wax hard. This is what  a lot of Muslims ,have notion of God , a magician , who can burst into passions and turn the world up side down and destroy all it's order  and discipline .

Certainly He is omnipotent to do it .Why should He do it ..?  We compare God with ourselves. We think emotionally and irrationally ,and  consider Him also like ourselves . He is the greatest ruler and the lawgiver. He has ordained certain laws for the whole universe for a definite time. Why should He abstain  from it .If He wishes he can turn the whole world obedient and make it a heaven, but it's a trial. We consider Him to be a sort of wizard who by his magic wand without any reason should do things in haste. He is the best planner of the planners : He has created the universe with suitable deliberation and contemplation, never   rushes   like Greek gods , who render absurd things and later on repent. The tragedy with man is that his whole knowledge is based upon  proportion and  comparison. When it comes to God we also set a limit for Him . We are misled by his attributes .,  we only see Him through  few attributes ,and  fix Him in a frame , therefore ,  God of every religion is different from other. Some where he  is revengeful who can slaughter the whole nation in a whim ,and  somewhere all merciful and compassionate,  who let lose the whole mankind to do any thing they want ,and some where a combination of both these . The folly man commits is to personify Him . He is just  unknown , unrevealed ,and the incomprehensible. He is a riddle ,a mystery , and an enigma , which will never  untangle . Our peace lies only in His  obedience….
