Though
I feel you earnestly
And
touch your lips tastelessly
But
there is no flow
Nor
warmth , or glow
Nor
that wild surge , which gives us
sprite
And
ignite
Both
,to turn us into ash –
So
all seems trash.
Why
should we not clap together
And
catch each other feather in feather.
Why
don’t we hiss and kiss
The
heaven in our rapture and break this
Barrier.
Why cant we take shower
And
feel for hour and hours
The
tingeing pain –they call pleasure
While
we count it in another measure.
What
blank space
Is
this , in which two bodies hang out
of place?
Why
does this silence prevail ….!
We
can’t break it or inhale
We
mere shiver like autumn leaves pale.
Because
we don’t breathe.
We
are cold and lifeless like death.
We
may fight and fight , but there is no resignation
Nor
humiliation:
But
a constant war of possession –
Therefore
this is no adoration.
We
have no music , nor harmony : our rhythm is broken,
We
have only doleful songs and our faith is shaken.
We
live at different spheres
And
have constant fears
Of
separation. We are different souls
Who
have vowed to remain at poles.
We
can find ourselves in aloofness and segregation
For
this life of separation
Keeps
us alive. We will flow
Together
, side by side , though
Long
to meet – but will never meet
Never meet never meet.
