the story
Getting up in the morning with a good stretch of a morning yawning. As I sat on the edge of my bed thinking to myself. This is going to be a good day.
After my morning routine the phone rang. It was Fred yes, Fred Dreads who was speaking up a party on the other side of town at Jodie�s Place. Jodie�s Place is a nice little hole in the wall if you could call a hole in the wall nice. Classy but yet shady with a capital S H A D Y .
Now Fred says that Sally said, �a party at Jodie�s has to be the spot for that night. Reason being is that they don�t cut corners on entertainment. I guess that explains where the money is spent. It is definitely not on the decor. I do have to admit I haven�t been to a weak party at the spot as of yet . So I put it on my plans for Friday night.
Let see 9:15 and nothing but time to do what ever I feel. No work and no prior engagements so I am free wheeling today and that feels oh so good.
Just as I put on one of my favorite CDs there was a knock on my door . This could be only one person this time of morning Angela with her supper fine self always bringing issues about something crazy along with her. Against my better judgment I open the door.Hey Lady what brings you around this morning? Without delay the my question was satisfied. With discuss in her voice Angela starts. Did you hear what Keasha said and did the other day? My reply with fake concern was no what is it with her now.
Angela walks her perfectly sculpture cocoa brown body to the patio door and looked over the sky line of the city and took a deep breath and then shook her head. I then ask her if she is all right this time with concern. You see I never seen her this shook up before. Even though as I walked over to her I couldn�t help but notice how nice she always looked as if plucked out of the pages of Essence magazine.
Angela started by saying I will be all right it is just. Keasha lost it.
Lost what? I said .
Lost her mind! Shouted Angela. It seems that she went to the Police and told them she shot Derrick 4 years ago. My face dropped to the floor . My mind was racing because we all knew Derrick was shot by Maya. that was the night she caught him with another man. Maya got 6 years up state for that. Matter of fact she should be getting out in about a year or so.
When did she go to the cops?
Last Tuesday said Angela. She said she felt guilty about how things turn out after she told Maya about her mans gay fling. Then telling her where to find them.
When was the last time you saw Keasha?
This morning about one o�clock or so. She was locked up until yesterday when Sally made her bail for her. Sally paid the bail!? Angela said yes why you ask? Well, I would have thought you would have made some arrangements for that . No I just first heard of the whole thing when Keasha told me this morning.
The DA spoke with her and now he is speaking to the judge to see if they will reopen the case. Wow this is some mess to hear before lunch. When will you see Keasha again? I don�t know she didn�t sleep at my place said Angela maybe at Sally�s . I do know one thing . What is that Angela ? I would like you to speak with here before the DA get in touch with here again. Yeah , I can do that. Set it up for later today. Before this thing get out of hand. Also by then you can try to figure out why she would go to Sally first instead of family.
Angela turns to me and give me a look of uncertainty. I am just think of what I am going to say to that crazy Keasha when we see her.
Meanwhile Here I am early in the morning with a beautiful queen who is my every desire. I something wonder if she even know how tight she is at time.
As Angela turns to come off the patio and back inside the breeze at the door step plays with her sun dress and the sun rays help highlight her thick firm thighs as it made the dress transparent . The view was spactacular.
I walked over to here as she entered back into the room and said lets get crazy.
She turns saying �oh my! you animal you�E
All I could say was girl you are too much I am talking of taking the dogs out to the park and act a fool for a minute before we get with your cousin.
Smiling she says, I knew that.
Just then the phone rang . It was Binky with news of the Keasha story. I listen to see if I could hear a new twist in the story. I act like she was the first to tell me. Right before I was to hang up the phone Angela comes back into the room singing an Angela Bofill song. Binky being the nosy lady she is quickly asked who is that singing over there. I just said, mind your business and hung up the phone.
Angela looked at me and said a strong what now? All I could say is that I love doing crazy things with you. Like taking the dogs out for a romp in the park and us getting silly with them. She cut in with a but... I said we need to track your girl Keasha down NOW! She has talk with Binky and Binky manage to drag enough of the story out of her to make it a special on the 6 o�clock news if you know what I mean. All Angela could do was shake her head and say oh my lord.
You see Binky is the type who can and will take the truth and make it sound good.
So off to Sally�s house.(miss money lady and information wizard). See as she would say go to who has the most at stake. We figure 40 grand in bail money is a lot. So if anyone knows where Ms Keasha is it will be her.
On the drive over to Sally�s house Angela didn�t say a word .Which was fine with me because I didn�t know what to say on this myself. Her expression say she was indeed worried about her cousin and for what it was worth I was too.
We rang the bell and the house and guess what, Ms never gone always at home is not there. Now we both are like what is the deal with this change in habit. So we sat on her porch while we contemplate our next move. About 10 to 15 minutes later my cel phone rang it was Fred . Fred was tripping on how he ran through Keasha�s tight body earlier today. I ask when you do this he said right after he hung up with me. I broke in as ask if she is still there he said no, she took off in a rush once she looked at the clock. Fred said he just thought she was late for work and thought nothing about it. Then he added why I said Angela looking for her that�s all. He was like yeah what ever man. I know you use to hit it a little while back you looking for some more. Hey I don�t do reruns but that one is worth a step back in time. We both laughed and then he said guess who called me about 3o minutes ago . I was like who Binky. Fred was like no crazy, Sally called asking for some ends. For what ? Fred said she said for a vacation trip she shorted herself . I told her hell no and she went off on my like she always do but this time she was more wicked if she could be. So I said oh you know Sally, she thinks the world owes her something. Then ended call shortly after that.
Meanwhile Angela was looking in the windows of the house and saw some suite cases packed in the living room. I told here what Fred said about Sally asking for money . She called her house to see if Keasha called and left and message or was there.
All I could think of is how this is tearing at Angela and since it is Thursday my weekend plans are going out the window quickly.
Angela go to off phone and said it is time to call Keasha�s mom to let her know what is going on with her child. Also to see if she has been there . Do you think she went home to get some money or just calm down after what she opened up . I don�t know said, Angela but have to let her mom know the situation so she is not blind sided by any one especially the police or the DA .
Out of the blue Angela ask if the phone was on in the cabin . I said don�t really know one way or another I would say it�s off since I haven�t been up there in a while. My question is why would she think of the cabin and I thought I took the keys from Keasha. Fred she got Fred keys after she knocked him out from this morning little romp she took off with the keys . She is thinking and getting broke off too. That girl is wild.
So I called the cabin in the hills but phone was off.
We got in the Car and started driving up there and while on the rode Angela call her Aunt. About an hour and a half later we were approaching the trail to the honey comb hide out. As we got closer we saw Sally�s car. So we stopped and walked the rest of the way up to the place. While walking up to the porch we where both confused and curious on what was going to happen once we spoke with them. Angela started to get upset and I tried to calm her but the anxiety was getting to her. She ask me a number of questions real quick like. Why sally ask Fred for money ? Do I think Keasha plan on running now? Do you believe she shot Derrick?Well her mom haven�t heard from her since Friday and Keasha said something to her about visiting friends in Puerto Rico for a while to get away and relax. You know she was in jail at that time. So thinking out load I said how did Sally get involved . Is she helping her run or trying to make her stay. She do have some big dollars tied up into your girl. Angela was quiet but kept walking.
Wait a minute I said Sally just dropped 7 thousand dollars on that new car you see about 3 months ago where she get the bail money?
We quietly started walking up to the cabin and was about to knock when through the window Angela saw both women getting down on each other. I was like what ? She said they are having sex with each other like no tomorrow. Angela then said look! As if she had to ask. My eyes were full of cocoa brown and dark brown wonderful females figures going at each other. After what seem to be a long while I hear and felt Angela disapproval of me starring. Her voice was saying like what you see. Now tell me. How do a man answer that question with out lying or getting slapped. So I just ask are you going in ? Angela then open the door and started screaming and the ladies jumped up and started yelling back. For about 3 minutes there they were yelling. ThentSally notice me just standing there and they stopped and put blanket around themselves and started yelling again. After a while clothe on and tempers a bit more civilized . I ask one question , What is going on with you and the police Keasha?
Sally jump in a said , �Keasha is handling her business and what she need help on I�m there for her unlike some folks. Sally then looked at Angela and rolled her eye to say Angela let her cousin down.
Keasha then said that is all right Sally I can handle them.
What is going on Keasha ? Angela said .
Well let me start by saying I killed Derrick not Maya.
What are you talking about we all know what happen that night ? said Angela.
No you don�t. You only knew what we told you . We? I said Yes Sally and I both knew the truth all along.
Angela started getting upset but told Keasha to come on with it. Keasha was about to say something and Sally interrupted and said no girl leave them out of it.
NO!! NO!! NO!! Said Angela I want to and need to know what is going on with my little cousin.
Keasha said it is for the best . All I have to say is the wrong person is in jail. Sally grabbing Keasha saying lets go we have a flight to catch.
Angela said you don�t think you are going to Puerto Rico do you . Keasha smiles and took Sally by the hand and started to the door. I said okay, okay this is too crazy you two are just going to walk out the door and leave the area while the DA is looking to reopen the case. Yes and also get our girl Maya out of jail too. They both said in unison and attitude. Angela said let them go but you know where we are if you need anything . She then gave Keasha a big hug and kiss and to Sally she gave warning with a expression of mess my cousin over and I will hunt you down. Sally just said don�t worry she is in my hands which if I say are good hands. Sally then squeezed Angela�s rounds and blew her a kiss as they passed by her. Angela look as if she was about to kill girl but held back .
After they left Angela said we have to get her away from Sally if it means going to Puerto Rico .I was like what !?
Angela said you saw what they were doing that is all Sally turning her out like that. I said don�t be too hasty both of them seem to be well experience with that. I has to catch myself do to I experience Keasha abilities before with another woman. Sally was a surprise for me thought I would have never guess that. I think Keasha has Sally open and hey! What with the touching of Sally to Angela back side as if she was there before? A lot of question and the real one is what really happen the night Derrick got shot. How are Sally and Keasha planning on getting Maya out of jail early and not send Keasha to take her place ?
