Why job
execution got problem with OEM?(o2)
I'm running 8.0.5 Enterprise Edition, and for some reason, when I submit
jobs to a remote instance, 99% of the time they get scheduled, but
not
started. I don't think its any kind of permissions problem with
the agent.
Jobs like broadcasting a "Hello World" message run with no problem,
but jobs
that actually perform some database function, like an export, just
get
recognized by the agent and scheduled, but never started. I'm running
on NT 4 SP4.
Ans:
Check did your agent started at all. If it did then do this. Check your
OS, if you really don't have export files.
If you have them, but console does not move job from job plate to history
plate, it means that your agent does not return signal to your console
deamon. Go to Deamon Manager and hardcode your listening address in configuration
parameters with port 7770. Now it will be recognizible for agent.
