Candles are one of the many Witch�s tools. By tapping into your sub-conscious and focusing your desire into the candle, you will be able to create change. What will you create?

Creating sacred space is essential to any ritual. We do this by connecting to the Earth�s energy. I would like you to chant the "Maa" sound � feel it vibrating in your throat. Do this until you feel your whole body vibrating, and then release the sound out into the universe.

You will now need to create a magickal circle, a safe place in which to perform your spell work. Do this by walking in a circle deosil (clockwise) three times, while saying:

"I conjure thee, O� Circle of Power, to be a place between the worlds. Keep Love, Light and Protection within, and all evil out! In the names of the Ancient Ones I call upon thee� Blessed Be!"

Now face the East and say:

"Elementals of Air, Sylphs, Winged Ones� sacred winds come into this circle of Light! Blessed Be!"

Now face the South and say:

"Elelmentals of Fire, Salamanders, Dancing Light� sacred flame come into this circle of Light! Blessed Be!"

Now face the West and say:

"Elementals of Water, Undines, Great Womb of life� sweet emotion and sacred flow come into this circle of Light! Blessed Be!"

Now face the North and say:

"Elementals of North, Gnomes, bring Strength from your sacred deep dark caverns, and come into this circle of Light! Blessed Be!"

Stand now in the center of your circle, and say:
"Blessed Lady - Goddess Diana; Come in your beauty, grace and power into this sacred circle of Light. Blessed Be!"

The circle is now cast. Now take your candle in both hands, and with one hand at each end slowly and purposefully work your hands around the candle, spiraling towards the center. While you are doing this visualize what it is you want, and focus that intent and desire into your candle.

Clearly see in your mind�s eye what it is you want to have happen. Continue this until you feel that your candle has been sufficiently charged with your energy.
Now spend a moment going deep inside yourself - just be very still and quiet. See if any information or visions come to you. This may take a little practice if your are not used to tapping into the other levels, be patient with yourself! Your sight will become more clear the more you practice (remember this is a craft, so be patient and most of all trust your inner-self!). Much knowledge dwells in our self as we are ALL connected to the divine!
Now take your carving tool and carve any symbols or images that feel appropriate to you into the candle. Once done place your candle into a safe holder and light it. Gaze into the flame and see your desired outcome manifesting.
Now on your paper write your desire down, in a rhyming fashion if possible. Now chant what you have written, repeating it over and over. As you do this, move deosil around your circle. Continue chanting and spiraling until you feel you have raised a sufficient amount of energy, and then immediately stop, throw your hands up into the sky and release the energy out onto the winds of change. Once you have released this energy, kneel down and place your hands, palm down, onto the floor to ground the energy back into the Earth. Your spell has now been cast!

Now go and face the North, and say: "I thank thee from my heart, Elementals of North, for thy presence here in this magickal rite. I ask that you go back now to whence you came. May there be peace and love between I and Thee now and forever. So Mote It Be!"

Now face the West, and say: "I thank thee from my heart, Elementals of West, for thy presence here in this magickal rite. I ask that you go back now to whence you came. May there be peace and love between I and Thee now and forever. So Mote It Be!"

Now face the South, and say: "I thank thee from my heart, Elementals of South, for thy presence here in this magickal rite. I ask that you go back now to whence you came. May there be peace and love between I and Thee now and forever. So Mote It Be!"

Now face the East, and say: "I thank thee from my heart, Elementals of East, for thy presence here in this magickal rite. I ask that you go back now to whence you came. May there be peace and love between I and Thee now and forever. So Mote It Be!"

Now go and stand in the center of your circle, and in your own words thank the beloved Goddess for her presence in your ritual.
Now walk three times around the circle widdershins (counter-clockwise), to take down your circle. Leave your candle burning as long as you would like, and when ready snuff it out (never blow it out).
Every night at about the same time re-light your candle and repeat your rhyme / chant three times. Repeat this every night up until 3 days prior to the Full Moon, or when the candle has burned all the way down (whichever comes first). Now take the remains of your candle (if any), along with your paper, and bury it outside in the Earth.
