For some reason this phrase has been adopted as a bit of a cliche in our culture. I don't know why. Obviously money is not the root of any evil, much less all evil. There's plenty of evil that takes place without money around, and when people do evil for the purpose of gaining money, there is deeper seated problems than wanting money. I want money. I don't kill people however, I try to sell T-shirts. Unless of course you classify that as evil...
