The batch maintenance and reporting programs in MFG/Pro 9.0 SP4 and eB SP1 are very limited. I wrote this utility with Progress 8.3x UIB (User Interface Builder). It is a GUI only application, so sorry all you UNIX only users. This tool gives you the ability to see all (or some) batch jobs at one time in a browse. Some fields can be changed in the browse, others via a popup maintenance screen. You can edit, save, copy, and delete batch requests. This comes in very handy in situations like at my current job where we have multiple batches with many requests each that are permanent. Give it a try, it makes batch maintenance so easy. Use the generic version, the other has some custom date change enhancements specific for my company.
MFG/Pro eB uses Progress 9.1x and the UIB is now called the AppBuilder. You should have no trouble loaded this into the AppBuilder and compiling. |
