The Crow is probably the best movie ever made. Unlike a lot of other people, I was a fan of The Crow before it was a movie. I read the graphic novel a year before the movie came out and I became hooked on it. The Crow has a perfect story. The story of The Crow is a hauntingly beautiful and tragic love story that touches the heart and soul deeply. When someone dies a Crow takes their soul to the land of the dead. Sometimes, when the soul cannot rest, the Crow brings the soul back to make the wrong things right. Eric Draven (Brandon Lee,) is brought back a year after he is killed along with his love Shelly. He paints his face like a tragedy mask and he seeks out the street thug killers that killed and raped Shelly. He hunts them down one by one until he is brought face to face with Top Dollar, the leader of the street thugs.
Everything about the Crow movie is brilliant. The movie is flawless and there is nothing wrong with it at all. After I finished watching the movie I was incredibly moved. It had a unique and brilliant style that no movie before it ever had. It was very dark but it was also a beautiful film with many positive messages. Brandon Lee did a great job on the film. He was a good actor and he had a brilliant career ahead of him. It's a shame that his career ended while making The Crow. We will all miss his brilliant talent and we are all grateful for his perfect performance as Draven.
There were two Crow movies after The Crow but they were not sequels. They were about two different main characters. The movies were The Crow City of Angels and The Crow Salvation.
