Your presence in my day

Is the energy I drink

For happiness.

The strength of your love

Is carried across space

To support my mind

And encircle my body.

 

Oh beautiful feeling of love

That you give to me

Is born again through

My acceptance and

My feelings for you.

 

You tell me that you love

The way my eyes sparkle.

My Love, need I tell you

That they sparkle because of

The love I feel for you?

 

Is this not what life should be

Between two lovers

But that what I am

Is the energy of your love,

And what you are

Is the energy of mine?

 

We shall drink of one another

And the love that

We will grow

Shall nourish us

Beyond the bounds
