Games of Life
The games of children
Go beyond puberty and into years
Creating not laughter,
But
hurt and sadness and tears.
Their frivolity is precious
Because it's honest, it's gay,
Not like the deceit and
selfishness
We mask in the games we play.
It's not my mind or my emotions
You should manipulate,
But the energy of love toward
others
To
rid us all of hate.
