Lima Beans, 1973, acrylics

This was part of a trilogy. A second piece, Green Onions, is in this collection, and I still have both. However, a third piece, Mushrooms, was given to a friend who asked to have it. It was by far the best of the three, but I don't have a photo of it. My friend told me that someone offered him $350 for it in 1974. I don't know if he sold it, however. He told me that he did not.

This piece was seriously water damaged, removing most of the background. However, you can see what remains of the background by the patches of bluish on the edges.
