Let us give you some advice based on our experience in 2000. First,
Oprah
made it quite clear then that she has no intentions...ever...of running
for
political office. We can only conjecture as to her reasons, but
surely, if
nothing else, her current status is sufficient to make her an
historical
figure of great stature (not to mention, a BILLIONAIRE!).
However, the response from surfers indicated that she could run
for...and
win...the presidency of the entire world. One out of every thirty
people
who surfed our site signed up to take part in an Oprah for President
movement. This is a VERY high response rate for the Web (one out of
every
150 is considered great). Furthermore, about one fourth of all
volunteers
were not even American citizens! To say that this lady is beloved is a
classic understatement.
