MARY DUNDON and PATRICK SAVILLE
Mary was the youngest child of John and Johanna, and their second daughter.  She was born in Collingwood, Victoria on 6 June 1860 and baptised on 25 June 1860 at St Patricks Cathedral, Melbourne.
Mary married Patrick Saville in Surry Hills in early 1879, aged 19 according to her death certificate. According to her mother's death certificate Mary was only 19 when her mother died. Johanna died in October 1879 and Mary was married earlier in that same year. Helen Frew  has located the index records for 5 children born to Mary and Patrick in NSW. The first four children were daughters: Ethel May Saville was born early in 1882, Johanna Margaret Saville in 1884, Amelia R. Saville in 1887 and Mary M. Saville in 1890. It appears that all 4 daughters married: Ethel married Lewis Cohen in 1899, Johanna married John Bentley in 1902, Amelia married Frank White in 1907, but unsure  of the marriage of Mary, the youngest daughter.
It seems that Mary Dundon/Saville died giving birth to their first son, Patrick W. Saville in 1892. Mary's death certificate states that she died on 30 December 1892 in Prince Alfred Hospital, Camperdown; cause of death is given as septic pneumonia and exhaustion. Patrick W. has a birth and death index entry in 1892. Mary's death certificate lists her 4 daughters as "living"  with 3 males, 3 females deceased. Mary was buried in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rookwood. She was only 32 when she died.
Her husband, Patrick, was the second son of Joseph M. Saville and his wife Mary, fourth of seven children, (Susan, Margaret, Joseph, Patrick, Michael, Francis and George) all born in NSW, Patrick in 1861.
