JAPANESE CHICKEN WINGS

3 llbs chicken wings
salt and black pepper
1 beaten egg
1 cup flour
oil to fry the chicken – approx 1 ˝ cups

Cut wings in half, salt and pepper. Dip in beaten egg and then in flour. Fry in the oil until slightly brown - -approx 7 min. Put in a shallow roasting pan and pour sauce over the wings.

SAUCE:

3 tbsps soya sauce
3 tbsps water
1 cup white sugar
˝ cup vinegar
˝ tsp salt

Mix in a small sauce pan. Heat until sugar melts. Then pour over the chicken wings. Bake the wings at 400 deg for 25 min –spoon sauce over wings during cooking. The sauce will thicken.
