The Golden Lion

One day, as I was driving up the taconic pkwy in New York state, I saw a small creature run across the road in front of me. It was the size and shape of a cat, but it's colors were of gold and metallic green, and it had a mane like that of a lion. And when it crossed the street, it didn't run like a frightened cat, but strutted proudly and with it's head held up high, like it was really snobby and didn't care about any cars. I only saw it for a few seconds, but I really saw it.

Another time on that same road, whilst passing through Hopewell Junction, I saw a dog snorting around the edge of the road. I was going too fast to stop, (55 MPH) so i turned around to see it, but by then it was gone. A couple years later, my friend Paul brought me to Hopewell Junction to see his friend, and that same dog was there, in the house. I told them about the story, and they said "Yeah, that dog likes to wander around the highway sometimes.

A year later I was at a gas station parking lot in Medford, Oregon and I saw an albino praying mantis. The end.
