Hi sat down in her chair at school with a tired sigh. Even the fact that it was Friday again had failed to cheer her up. It had been a week now since they had run into Mizu, or Mi as Hi now thought of the man who had been her brother in her past life, and he had joined their small group of Senshi. That week had been very tiring.

They had been searching for any sign of the rest of the Zodiac Senshi but so far had turned up an absolute zero. And because they were in school most of the day and Hi�s mom was still being very overprotective, Hi had to wait until after Miaka fell asleep before sneaking out to the park to meet up with Ki and Ai. Because of these late night searches neither of the girls had gotten to sleep before one in the morning.

Mi and �Dair had quickly become friends and �Dair had fixed it so that Mi would work in the palace indefinatly. They went out searching as often as they could since neither one of them had to go to school anymore. Their schedule had been built around when Mi was supposed to be working or when �Dair had to watch any of the children.

Hi smothered a yawn and struggled to concentrate on what her teacher was saying.

�-So I will be expecting those in Monday morning class.� Hi�s teacher, a woman who seemed to always look frustrated or sad, looking down at the paper in front of her with a sigh. �Also after class today a young man will,� she squinted at the small announcement paper and shook her head with a sigh.

�Will what Matsuura-sensei?� One of the students asked.

Ms. Matsuura shook her head again. �Will be doing some kind of psychic reading after school in the gymnasium. Donations are accepted but not required.� She finished.

Whispers erupted in the class before the teacher got control again and then she started in on the day�s lesson.

Hi and Ai walked out of the school together after the final bell rang. Neither one of them seemed to have much energy to do much talking, both of them envisioning a nice long nap before they started in on their homework for the weekend.

They made it halfway to the school gates before a voice sang out behind them. �Hi-chan! Ai-chan! Matte!�

The girls paused and turned to face Ki-chan with varying expressions of wariness as they saw how excited and awake the younger girl looked.

�Nani?� Hi asked, shifting her bag to her other hand.

�We�re going to the psychic reading Kikom-san is doing!� Ki exclaimed as she grabbed her friends� arms and began dragging them back towards the school.

�Oh no we�re not!� Hi countered, digging her heels into the ground to stop them. �I am going home to sleep Ki-chan and that�s all there is to it!�

Ai looked slightly interested but shrugged and yawned. �I�m tired too Ki-chan plus we are going out tonight and still have a lot of homework��

Ki shook her head and waved another girl over to join them. �Hi-chan, Ai-chan, this is Samantha Talak! Her family is English but they lived on the Moon before transferring back her last year! Anyway the man who is doing the psychic reading is Jalinel Kikom and they were good friends back on the Moon Colony. Besides she says he uses some of the Zodiac signs in his readings!� She said to Hi before turning to Ai. �And he is really handsome according to Samantha-chan!�

Hi glanced at Samantha before bowing a bit. The girl was almost as tall as Hi, but had an aura of awkwardness with her own beauty. She had hair of a midnight black, only slightly longer then Ai's. Her blue eyes were wide in her pale face that turned almost painfully red as Hi watched. She bowed low and kept her face away from the other girls.

Hi smiled and gave a more formal bow in return. �Hello Talak-san, nice to meet you.� She said in badly accented English.

Samantha looked up, her blush fading a bit and gave a shy smile. �Nice to meet you.� She replied in Japanese, her own accent barely audible.

Hi suddenly turned, realizing that Ki had been whispering to Ai all this time and groaned seeing the apologetic look on Ai�s face. �Gomen, Hi-chan, she got me curious. And it only lasts an hour after all.� The golden eyed girl said.

Hi sighed and rubbed her temples with one hand, accepting the defeat. �Fine, only an hour.� With ill grace, she let Ki and Ai drag her off with Samantha following behind them.

Not many people had decided to show up, maybe twenty or thirty in all, but those who did were avidly seated in a circle watching a young man with waist length dark green hair. He had called a student out from the circle and as the latecomers seated themselves he began talking in a soft voice. From what Hi knew of the girl he was right on target as well.

As he went through some of the other people in the circle Hi gained a grudging belief in what he was saying but she couldn�t know for sure that he didn�t just know something about each of his choices from his friend Samantha or something. Ki however, appeared totally enraptured and Hi half expected her friend to start drooling over the elegant man. Ai was watching curiously, obviously more open to believing his psychic claims then Hi was. Samantha was smiling like a proud sister each time he talked.

Suddenly Hi found him looking at her. �You don�t believe,� he said in his soft voice. �Come I will do your aura next.� Hi eyed him up warily but at a shove from behind courtesy of Ki got up and settled in front of him in the middle of the circle. He stared into her eyes, green meeting red, and what he found in her eyes obviously startled him. �I would tell you in privacy what I see in you, and you friends as well.� He said as he looked to Ki and Ai. �For now I will say you have awakened the soul of one of your past lives. And you have been reunited with a family you thought long lost.�

Hi lunged to her feet eyes widening in surprise, her tiredness forgotten. What else had he seen in her eyes that he wouldn�t say in front of an audience? �That�s crazy,� she said hoarsely and quickly moved back to her seat.

For the rest of the hour Hi sat silently watching him and found he looked to her between each of his students. Finally he had read each of them except for Ki and Ai and then said he was done for the day and thanked them all for coming.

Hi stood up quickly looking to Ki and Ai and seeing her own worry reflected in their eyes. �We need to find out what he knows.� She stated.

The three moved back, letting the chatting students pass them and leave the gym until the three girls were left with the psychic and Samantha. Hi studied him again as he stood talking to the other girl. He was very tall and thin, but his slim frame bore a lean layer of muscle. He wore a simple pair of jeans and sneakers with a sweater matching the forest green color of his hair and eyes. Eyes that saw way too much.

After a minute he leaned down and kissed the top of Samantha�s head and she left with a curious glance to Hi and her friends.

The group started at him for a second then he shrugged and a smile flickered around the corners of his mouth. �So you three are members of the Zodiac Senshi everyone has heard so much about.� He held up a hand to forestall their protests. �Do not worry. I can see the two aura�s in you but I will tell no one else what I see.�

Hi chewed on her lip thinking about that when Ai said. �Could you tell us any of the other Zodiac Senshi we have yet to awaken?�

He shook his head. �No, I would not know them to see them unless they had already enough knowledge to have awakened the other soul in their body.� He looked down at his hands, his eyes doubtful. �I sometimes feel like all my power in drawn from the Moon and have a feeling of, well, d�j� vu when I hear of your battles. But I could not tell you if I belonged to your band. I do know that the youngest child of the Moon will soon be in trouble and you will need the powers of the Guardian of the Moon to save her.�

Hi thought about that then sighed. �As we have searched for the rest of our missing friends we have heard many people say they thought they could be a Zodiac Senshi. However we have no way of knowing until we see the symbol glowing on the forehead. There is only one of us who could tell who is a Zodiac Senshi at a glance but he will not be reborn until we have collected all twelve of the others.�

�Sailor Zodiac,� the psychic nodded and Hi rubbed her arms at how eerie that was. After a minute of silence he said. �Here is my phone number, call me if you have need of my assistance. For now I will go mediate on how I can help you further.� He dug a small card from his pocket and handed it to Hi.

Hi bowed to him as she accepted it. �Arigato Kikom-san.� She said.

He smiled. �Jalinel.�

Hi grinned up at him. �And I am Hi-chan.�

�I�m Ai-chan.� Ai smiled and waved to him.

Ki half pushed Hi out of the way and held out her hand �causing Hi and Ai to snicker at the love-struck expression in her eyes. �I�m Ki-chan!� She announced, smiling when he took her hand, then blushing as he leaned down to kiss it.

Hi started to say something to that when a beeping came from both her bag and Ki�s. Hi dug out her phone and pressed the talk button. �Moshi Moshi?� She answered while Ki searched for her phone.

�Hi-chan?� Came �Dair�s voice sounding tight and worried. �Princess Usako is missing. Is Ai-chan with you? Mi is calling Ki but she hasn�t answered yet.�

Hi�s throat tightened as she looked to Jalinel. �Hai, I�m still at school with Ai and Ki who can�t find her phone in her mess of a bag, do you know at all where she could be?�

She heard him tell Mi not to bother calling Ki and the beeping cut off just as she pulled the phone from her bag triumphantly making Ai laugh. �We don�t know at all, Sailor Mars is trying to read the flames but hasn�t found anything yet and Neptune�s mirror is totally blank.�

Hi thought quickly. �We will come to the palace as quickly as we can if you and Mi can get us in.�

�Of course, see you soon.� He replied hanging up.

Hi looked up her eyes clouding with worry and Ai clasped her shoulder softly. �What�s happening?�

�Princess Usako is missing and Mars and Neptune aren�t getting anything psychically.�

�If I had something of hers I might be able to help.� Jalinel offered quickly.

Hi nodded curtly. �Lets go.�

Together the four ran from the school to the direction of the palace. When they got there Mi and �Dair were waiting at the gate and they were quickly ushered in. �Who�s this?� �Dair asked as he looked at Jalinel.

�A psychic who was at school, he saw who we were at a glance. Do you have anything of Usako�s he can use to try and find her?�

�I�ll go get something,� he said after giving Jalinel a doubtful look. �I�ll meet you in the normal garden.� He then sprinted off.

�I�ll bring you to the garden by the back-ways so the Senshi don�t ask why your all here during this time.� Mi offered. He glanced at their school uniforms and grinned a bit, obviously unable to resist teasing them more. �So how were classes today my sisters?�

Hi glared at the back of his hooded head as she followed him through the halls, all three girls refusing to answer by silent consent.

�Why do you joke when someone is missing?� Jalinel asked, sounding confused.

Mi looked back at him, then shrugged. �A lot of people go missing lately but if we worry ourselves sick at times we can do nothing we will be in no shape to help them when we can.�

The group traveled in silence after that and arrived at the garden without incident. �Dair was seated on the bench where he had told Hi his past when they arrived. �Here,� he offered, holding out a small hair clip. �It�s the most I could get without any one noticing.�

Jalinel nodded and accepted the clip, his eyes closing as he began concentrating.

�Dair turned to Hi. �It he trustworthy?�

Hi shrugged helplessly. �He seems to be, I couldn�t tell you for sure though. When he was doing his psychic thing he told us that soon we would need the powers of the Guardian of the Moon.�

�And now a Child of the Moon is missing.� Mi said as he and Ai joined them. A quick glance showed that Ki was more interested in watching Jalinel.

�Instinctively I believe he wants to help. I�m not sure but�oh!� She exclaimed at a quick feeling of violation.

Seconds later Ki let out a startled scream which was quickly muffled and a slight thump sounded.

Hi spun and blinked in surprise as she saw Jalinel sitting on the ground looking faintly stunned. The hair clip lay on the ground in front of him. He had transformed, his outfit was of the same style as the other male Zodiac Senshi, however unlike the darkness of the others his was a silvery color trimmed with pale green. Two small braids on either side of his face and a cloth headband around his head kept his long hair off his face. The silver headband covered his forehead with a silver Cancer symbol over where his own symbol would be. Like the other men he had no chocker, and his symbol glowed softly at the base of his neck instead of his covered forehead.

�How did you do that?� Hi stammered, reaching into her dimensional pocket and pulling out the two boxes to see the Cancer pin and phone were both missing.

�I-I don�t know�� Cancer replied, getting shakily to his feet and looking down at himself in amazement. �But I do know where Princess Usako is.�

�Then what are we waiting for?� Hi asked, slipping the boxes back in her pocket and pulling out her pin instead. They had all agreed that they could not wear their henshin pins in public so kept them hidden in the other dimension. Seeing the others following her example she pinned the small symbol onto the center of the bow on her uniform and passed her hand over it. �Aries Celestial Power Make Up!�

�Sagittarius Celestial Power Make Up!�

�We�ll Jump to where she is,� Aries decided as she turned to Cancer. �You�ll have to lead us, just fix where she is into her mind, join with us and call out Celestial Jump.�

Cancer nodded and the six joined hands in a circle. He concentrated then nodded. �Celestial Jump!�

Aries stumbled as soon as she felt ground under her feet and fell to her knees with a tired groan. �I thought it would be easier with more of us but that was much worse then last time.� She mumbled, trying to quell her nausea.

Libra swallowed hard and looked up. �Yeah but we only went about a mile last time��

Aries followed her gaze and cursed when she saw the stars and the Earth hanging in the sky above her. �Shimatta, we�re on the Moon.� She stated glumly.

Gemini laughed weakly and shook his head. �Go figure, next time we�ll catch the next space shuttle ok?� His dark hair stood out starkly against his pale skin.

Sagittarius fought her way back to her feet. �Yup and we�ll use your wages since our allowance won�t cover it.�

Aries got up with the help of Scorpio and smiled her thanks to him. �Is she in there?� She asked Cancer seeing he was staring at a house. They had landed in the yard, thankfully unnoticed as it had a wall around it.

�Yes, and something else, something not human.� He replied.

�We need someone with a computer like Sailor Mercury.� Scorpio stated wryly. �Any idea what it is Cancer?�

Cancer frowned. �It feels almost like, a spirit?�

Aries raised one eyebrow. �A ghost kidnapped the Princess?�

�I�ll go look in the window,� Gemini offered. He crossed his arms over his chest at the wrists. �Gemini Separate!� He split into his two versions, each one almost invisible except for the gems at their wrists in the faint light on the moon. The two Gemini�s moved towards the window silently.

Cancer�s head suddenly snapped up. �It sensed us it�s going to kill her!�

Aries spun her glaive. �We�re going in the front door.� She stated grimly as she ran towards the door, slicing it open easily with the blade of her War Glaive.

The house was only one room, and the room was totally empty except for the small purple haired Princess sitting in the middle of the floor crying.

�Usako-chan,� Scorpio breathed a sigh of relief and stepped though the door. However he was brought up short as he hit an invisible wall a couple feet into the room.

Angerily he slashed at the wall with his sword but the blade just bounced off.

�Help me!� Usako cried, getting up and coming over to the wall and pressing her hands against it. �Please!�

�Usako-chan just stay calm.� Scorpio replied as he knelt down to her level. �It�s your Uncle Doku, you can�t tell your mother who we are or we can�t help you as much OK? But you trust me and we will get you out of here.�

Aries prodded the wall thoughtfully with her glaive. �Sagittarius can you shoot through it?�

Sagittarius looked doubtful but drew her bow an arrow appearing. �I�ll try.� She murmured, and shot the arrow at the wall only to yelp and skip to the side as it bounced back at her.

Aries made a face. �Good thing I didn�t try my fire that�s a lot harder to dodge.�

�That�s odd, I can�t feel anything there.� The two Gemini�s stated as they calmly stepped past the spot that was giving the others trouble.

�You�re not solid like that, almost like a ghost. Be careful Gemini whatever made that wall is in there and you might be more vulnerable to it like that.� Cancer warned.

�Good point,� Gemini said and started to cross his arms when suddenly a red slash of blood appeared on his right cheek. He started to curse, then cut himself off as his eyes widened and locked onto something.

�Gemini, be careful!� Libra yelled out her eyes flaring in concern.

Gemini quickly crossed his wrists and formed back into one man shuddering. �It passed right though me that time.� He mumbled, lifting one hand to touch the blood on his cheek. �It�s a crystal being with a sword, I can�t touch it like this but it can�t seem to touch me without taking down the wall and becoming solid."

He knelt down as the crying Usako ran to him and picked up the little girl. �Don�t worry we�ll get you out honey.� He mumbled, stroking her hair gently.

Aries turned to the others. �How can we get in there?�

�Can�t you do something Cancer?� Sagittarius asked as she looked up at the green haired man. �You�re psychic after all.�

Cancer thought about that and then concentrated causing his headband to glow. �Oh! I can see it and the wall!� He exclaimed. �And it does not look happy at all. Maybe I can�� He trailed off uncertainly and looked to Aries.

Aries smiled and shrugged. �Try anything as long as your not gonna bounce it off the wall at us.�

He smiled and seemed to relax. His headband began to glow brighter as his eyes closed. �Claws,� he whispered. Suddenly the ghostly form of a giant crab appeared. Aries gasped and started as she felt it pass through her then started to blush before she noticed her friends had the same reaction. �Squeeze!� His eyes snapped open and they were glowing bright silver. The crab disappeared and two waves of energy formed on each side of the room, passing though the people in it until they met in the center of the room.

There was the sound of a scream, and then a crystal being appeared, standing right behind Gemini and Usako with sword raised. Then he shattered; and his pieces disappeared before they hit the ground.

Sagittarius yelped, almost falling onto her face as she had been leaning against the wall as it disappeared. Libra giggled and quickly caught her friend to help her stay upright.

Scorpio gave Cancer a nod of thanks and walked over to Gemini, carefully taking Usako from him.

Aries sighed as she thought of something. �Who here has the energy to teleport back to Earth?� A collective groan as her only answer and she sighed again. �We�ll have to call the Queen and deal with their questions about how we saved her daughter and who we are so she can either send the Sailor Senshi to get us or we can find the money to afford a shuttle back. I really hope it�s not a shuttle, Okaa-san is gonna be mad enough with how late I am already��
