Eternal Sailor Moon was the first one through the door, followed closely by her well-loved friends. The pain of Foam and Breeze’s deaths was a dull ache in her heart. She hadn’t known them very well but it still felt like she had lost a piece of herself. She couldn’t imagine the pain the Outer Senshi and Knights felt.

As she stepped into the throne room beyond the door, no one would recognize her as the slightly flaky girl she had been when she first found her powers and past life at the tender age of fourteen. The Princess of the Moon was 18 now, and much more experienced then she had been. She had fought countless youma, daimon, and lemures. She had battled Negaverse Queens, Black Moon Families, a dream eating circus troupe and Star Seed stealing Senshi. She had beaten Chaos. She had fought for her future self, scrambled to save her future daughter, and she had won. She had helped the Soldiers from another galaxy find their Princess. She had felt the pain of heartbreak, and the joy of recovering the man she loved. She had watched her friends fall in love, and she had united the estranged Knights with their Senshi counterparts. She was in no way the fourteen-year-old girl from middle school. She was determined to make the world safe. That was the only was she could be happy, and this king was just another in the way of her happiness and she would defeat him.

Her blue eyes scanned the room and settled on the man sitting in the throne at the far end. He had a commanding presence. His silvery blond hair was cropped short around his head, and his lean body was in the best of shape. He had spent a millennia in this corner of the Gates of Time, and had not aged since the reign of Queen Serenity. Eternal Sailor Moon studied his face, the high cheekbones, the sculpted chin, and the cold gray eyes. Those eyes held no emotion whatsoever. No hope for the future, just a cold glittering hate.

He was studying her too, she could tell. And then he started to smile, his lips curving up in a sardonic grin. And in that instant she knew him. He started to laugh as he saw the recognition in her eyes and he stood with a fluid kind of grace. “So you have come at last, My Princess.” She words sent a shiver down her spine and she pushed whatever sympathy she felt back and lifted her chin proudly.

“You turned our friends against us with lies that fed on their doubts! You threatened innocent people with your hate and cruelty! I won’t let it continue any longer! Pretty Sailor Suited Soldier Eternal Sailor Moon!” Sailor Moon declared.

“In the name of Mercury I will wash away your misdeeds! Eternal Sailor Mercury!”

“In the name of Mars I will bring the judgment of the fires upon you! Eternal Sailor Mars!”

“In the name of Jupiter I will show you the error of your ways and make you pay! Eternal Sailor Jupiter!”

“In the name of Venus I will bring divine punishment down upon you! Eternal Sailor Venus!”

“Heralded by a new age, I am the Senshi of the Wind, guarded by the planet Uranus, Eternal Sailor Uranus!”

“Heralded by a new age, I am the Senshi of Water, guarded by the planet Neptune, Eternal Sailor Neptune!”

“Heralded by a new age, I am the Senshi of Time, guarded by the planet Pluto, Eternal Sailor Pluto.”

“I am the Soldier of Death, Rebirth, and Destruction. The silent messenger of Saturn, Eternal Sailor Saturn!”

“Tsukini kawatte! Oshokio!” The Senshi said in unison.

The King smirked. “Always did love pretty speeches, didn’t you girls?” He asked, his eyes smug and sure of himself. “Even with your pretty words you do not have the power to destroy me.”

“But together we do.” Moon Knight said as the Knights slipped from the shadows around the room.

The Kings eyes widened in surprise and dawning horror as he realized his error.

“In the name of Earth I will protect those on my guardian planet! Eternal Sailor Earth!” Sailor Earth stepped forward to stand with the other Senshi, she had held back earlier to keep from giving away the fact that the previous Opposite Knights now fought alongside the Senshi.

“Called to lead the Knights against any threat to the safety of the world, Moon Knight!”

“Called to protect my loved ones and the peace of my world, Earth Knight!”

“Called to aid and protect the harmony of existence, Mercury Knight!”

“Called to protect all the spirits that live alongside us, Mars Knight!”

“Called to fight for all that is right, Jupiter Knight!”

“Called to cherish and promote the love of each other, Venus Knight!”

“Called to keep the world from the ultimate silence, Saturn Knight!”

“Called to protect the timeline that should be, Pluto Knight!”

“We will make you pay for what you have done.” Moon Knight finished as he drew his sword.

Surprisingly, The King laughed. “And where would be the other two you need to accomplish that fact. Let us see.” A wind swept up around the room and out into the other room, sweeping up the bodies of Uranus Knight and Neptune Knight and depositing them at the foot of the throne.

“Don’t touch them!” Saturn Knight screamed as he lifted his gun. “Destruction Bullet!”

But the king just laughed again as something flickered in the air between them and absorbed the blow.

Eternal Sailor Moon lifted her scepter. “Minna! Together! Terran Moon Princess Magic!”

“Living Earth!”

“Mercury Deathsong Freeze!”

“Mars Destruction Fire!”

“Jupiter Thunder Death Spiral!”

“Venus Loving Light!”

“Silence Glaive Surprise!”

“Deep Water Reflection!”

“Cutting Edge World Blast!”

“Time Bomb Explosion!”

“Moon Light Slice!”

“Rose Sword Storm!”

“Merucry Musical Ice Haze!”

“Mars Crossbow Flamethrower!”

“Jupiter Fist Pummel!”

“Venus Love Whip!”

“Destruction Bullet!”

“Dying Blades!”

The combined attacks formed into an awesome mass of power, but The King just laughed harder and this time the attacks hit his shield and lanced back at their sources.

Screams filled the air and within seconds Senshi and Knights lay scattered across the room.

The King slowly walked down the steps, disdainfully kicking people aside until he came to Eternal Sailor Moon. “Your mother rejected me.” He said softly. “I gave her all my love and she turned me into the laughing stock of the Moon Kingdom. I will make everyone pay for my pain.”

Sailor Moon slowly got up to her knees, then shakily to her feet. “You never knew the meaning of love.” She gasped out. “That was your downfall.” As she looked up at him, her eyes held pity and sympathy. The King flinched back with a startled hiss and Sailor Moon took the opportunity to brush her hand over her broach. “Moon Crystal POWER!” She yelled out.

Beams of light lanced out from the silver crystal as the broach opened, touching each of the Senshi and Knights and slowly each of them got to their feet. “We aren’t done yet.” Sailor Moon told The King, sweat forming on her brow as she concentrated the effort to Neptune Knight and Uranus Knight.

“Iie!” He yelled, slapping her back to the ground again.

Sailor Jupiter and Jupiter Knight converged on him, pummeling him with fists and kicks while Sailor Earth helped Sailor Moon up again. Strangely the blond girl was smiling.

“Breeze! Foam!” Came Saturn Knight’s exuberant voice a moment later, causing everyone to look towards the bodies. However they were no longer bodies. The two Outer Knights were now standing, hands linked together with their free hands holding their weapons.

“Sailor planet attack.” Sailor Moon whispered tiredly.

Sailor Earth nodded, and the other Senshi formed a circle around their leader. Quickly their auras flared up as they joined hands and yelled. “Sailor Planet ATTACK!”

The powerful attack lanced out and battered its way right through the shield around The King and sent him flying backwards.

The Knights quickly followed suit, joining in another circle around the Senshi. “Knights Protection!” They yelled together, and the colors of the auras around the Senshi strengthened and firmed, the intense heat surrounding the screaming king until he was no longer.

And then the dimension fell apart.
