The Small/Medium Business Division concentrates on businesses with less than 1000 employees in the following sectors: Wholesale, Manufacturing / Industrial, Retail, Distribution, Telecomms, Local Government.
E-Commerce is seen as a key issue within this marketplace.
The Role:
Responsible for engaging with client board members and senior management producing the business requirements specifications for E-Commerce solutions for business.
Working with the client, Consultants will define the functional, usability and operational requirements of the E-Commerce application; understanding the business and IT environment within which the E-Commerce application will operate.
Advising clients on the strategic options and the corresponding design choices associated with: exploitation of new media, operation in an Intranet, Internet and Extranet environment, high level integration with existing IT applications.
Defining the functional architecture of the E-Commerce application, its technical interfaces and its use of data.
Skills Required:
Mandatory:
- Good understanding of business transformation through the use of Internet technologies.
- Experience of developing E-Commerce strategies with a range of companies.
- Experience of taking a key role in shaping and delivering successful E-Commerce projects.
Personally you will have drive, take initiative, be creative, innovative and work well with other team members as well as business executives and senior functional managers.
