He grew up with racing in his blood with having grandpa and dad both having raced before. His dad raced open wheel modifieds from 85-94. He is the only child of Alan and Rena Oppendike (Short) Racing Career: Started racing 6 weeks into 2002 season in a cruiser and sold the cruiser with 4 consecutive feature wins 2 weeks before mid season. Adam bought a Street Stock and raced the week of mid season though that year. Him and his crew built a new car this winter and plan on racing street stocks the rest of this season at Dav. Blue grass and East Moline. |
