There is a lot of age discrimination in this country. If you are under 18, you pretty much know what I am talking about. You can't go and buy something off t.v., you can't enter certain sweepstakes, you can't gamble, you can't buy cigarettes, you can't view pornographic material(legally), and you can't own a credit card on your own. Now I am not saying that all those things are good, but I am saying that those are some rights that we don't have! I am more mature than a lot of adults, I don't go out and get drunk, wasted, or anything like that, don't owe child support, etc., and I am sure a lot of other people under 18 are also very mature! AGE IS JUST SAYING HOW LONG YOU HAVE LIVED ON THIS EARTH, NOT HOW FAST YOU MATURE. Now it is not against the people who are under 18, it is also against people who are under 21! IF THEY CONSIDER YOU A LEGAL ADULT WHEN YOU ARE 18, WHY CAN'T YOU BUY ALCOHOL? Sure that is when you are starting to drive, but you are an adult, right? Society, which I hate, considers you to be mature enough to drive, smoke, go to war(if you are a guy you MUST sign up for the military-females don�t�THERE IS YOUR EQUALITY RIGHT THERE), and accept punishments for your crime, but they still don't think you are mature enough to drink alcohol. I don't think I need to say anymore about this, I am pretty sure I got the point out to you. We should use what little freedoms we have left, stand up, and fix what is wrong! Not just age discrimination, but language, and just the way society is. Alter the course of the future, send this site to someone, tell someone, have them tell someone, share your opinion! Stand up for yourself!
