| CONLEY July 12, 1888 William Conley farmer of Oldtown, died last night with cholera morbus. He was ill only four hours before the end. He was a brother in law to Elwood Ginevan. He was unmarried & served in the 2nd Maryland in the War. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery. |

| HARTSOCK Mar 2, 1888 Mr. Frederick Hartsock died last night at his residence in Flintstone, age 65.Burial in the family burying grounds. |

| TWIGG May 18, 1888 Greenbriar Twigg died yesterday at the residence of Mr. A. M.Shuck on Fayette St. in his 98th year of age. A native of Oldtown, he took part in the War of 1812 and had drawn a pension for years. Six years ago he came to live here with his niece. |
