Operation Save Me is a number of charity events deticated to bring the joys and and wonder of music to those who are unable to attend such affairs. It is also to help raise money for different organizations by getting musicians engaged in benefits and
charitable auctions. We started off as a 2 person team (with the help of some friends). Now our team has expanded to hundreds of fans helping us along the way.We have named this project, Operation Save Me because it seems appropriate given the meaning of the song, "Save Me" by Hanson from their album This Time
Around. Make a Wish will be helping us find programs to reach out to children who would like to attend. All generated funds will go directly to charity.We are still waiting for confirmation from participants that wish to par-take in this matter, and help spread a bit more happiness to those in need of a friendly smile.
For our first benefit concert and party, our primary purpose is to help sick fans, along with healthy ones meet Hanson, and raise money for cancer research. The secondary purpose, and
also the vehicle to achieve our goal is to unite both healthy and sick fans together, as one. Other participants may include talented singer and musician Michelle Branch, possibly
help from Aerosmith, and hopefully other bands such as Neve and Jonny Lang. It will allow an atmosphere where all fans, most importantly the sick, can interact with eachother and the performers.
We have been told by Triune Management that getting a lawyer is just a formality. In the end,it won't change their opinion of what we are doing, or will help us in any way. We would most
likely need one after its confirmed. It all comes down to what Hanson and the other musicians want.
