Mission
Operation Military Pride 2000 is a nonprofit organization, whose members consist of volunteer military spouses. Our goal is to brighten the holiday season for those in the military that are deployed over the holidays.
As difficult as serving in the armed forces may be, the worst time is probably the holiday seasons, a traditional time for families to gather together. Many thousands of our military men and women will not be able to take annual leave in order to be with their families during the holiday season.
That is the reason for Operation Military Pride. Holiday greetings and gifts are gathered from around the country for shipment to units and personnel who are deployed throughout the holiday season. This is an ideal project for school classes, church groups, organizations, families and individuals.

Operation Military Pride began life from a newsletter for those with military affiliation, "Military Pride". It has grown to over 9,600 subscribers, most of who are deployed military members. For over four years, "Military Pride" has provided useful and hard to find information for those in the armed services.
