| Ariane Cale is 19 years old. She is with the 454th Transport Army Reserve unit out of Columbus, OH. She lives in Zanesville, OH with her mom, step-dad and three brothers. She graduated from West Muskingum High School last June and planned to go to Kent State University to pursue a degree in fashion design. In order to avoid accruing a lot of college debt she joined the Army Reserves. She finished basic training just before Thanksgiving, 2003 and four days later got orders for deployment. She shipped out to Kuwait in early February and deployed to Iraq about a month ago. She is based in Tikrit and will be sharing the cookies with about 170 other soldiers in her unit. |
